i picked this up from a month ago and i actually don't really remember the original concept. usually i remember and pick up where i left off but i just took the reins and went to the moon

Lloyd had a heart of gold.

He also had a young heart. He hadn't been through enough to know the difference between someone being nice and someone using them. The green ninja recently took up a job as the ninja had dispersed for a few months. The city promised them a year off. In result, they funded the police, FBI, CIA, the military, and other organizations, hiring a bunch of people to take care of the villains for a year. They did so much to cover a group of six. Sometimes we had to question our leaders.

His job was at a juice shop not far from his home in downtown Ninjago City. The city had given it to them as a thank you. All of the ninja were neighbours but that didn't mean that they saw each other often. Which sucked sometimes but he still left home. He enjoyed his job and it inspired him to make juices at home. He wasn't all that amazed by healthy foods and would rather suck on a lollipop for his whole life than to think about eating a piece of lettuce. His job was good pay and he made other friends as well.

He didn't know that they weren't his friend. Except for Adam. Adam was the manager of the juice shop, he was young as well so it didn't make any weird power dynamic between him and his employees. Adam treated Lloyd like anyone else and could care less that he was the green ninja. I mean, he did freak out when Lloyd's name appeared on the application form on his desk but he knew better than to make him feel like an outlier.

"Hey Lloyd!" One of his co-workers Jacob called out. The boy made his way as fast as he could because he knew that Jacob would be mad if he took his time walking. It was common for one of them to get mad. You would think that since he was the green ninja he would get a bit more respect. But no, he was shamed constantly and continuously.
Lloyd nodded as a signal of saying 'what's up?' while he dried his hands with a towel since he was just washing up some of the fruit. He didn't fail to notice the girl that was beside his co-worker. He didn't know her nor recognized her.
"You're going to show Y/n around today."

The blond raised a brow and threw the towel on his shoulder. "Adam said that it's your turn to show the new co-worker around. I haven't been here long enough to show anyone around." Jacob was trying his hardest not to scowl and mr perfect right in front of him.

"C'mon, three months is long enough—"

"Minimum is a year."

"—just trust me. It'll be fine. Oh look at that," he gasped, pretending he got a text, "Adam just said it's fine for you to tour the lady right here." Said girl stepped away from him with disgust in her eyes.
