Hello strangers of distant lands and friends of old--I am just going to clear up a loose end before I begin this tale, as some facts are going to be changed and altered. With good reason.
As you all know, Tolkien had created Elves as an all white people. However, I'm going to say that Elves are not all pale and white, and come in several different colors of people as well as every other race of beings in Middle-Earth, so that when some situations occur POC can feel like the situation is still valid and real, and suits them as well because I think as writers, especially of x readers, when it comes to certain lore and fandoms it's our duty to make EVERYONE feel included, even if that means changing certain things. I did this because I feel like colour wise, there is almost no way around it for some situations nor is it fair to others and myself as a fellow POC to begin with.
Also, if any more lore and or Middle-Earth facts are incorrect, know they are so likely for a reason or for the sake of storytelling.
I REALLY DON'T WANT PEOPLE YELLING AT ME FOR INACCURACIES THAT I KNOW ARE WRONG OKAY? I'M VERY SENSITIVE AND ANGRY!
Another note!
Long over due indeed! I have re-written, and massively re-done and edited this story in hopes to slightly improve some of the work. To say the beginning few chapters are a bit rough would be honest, as I did struggle with creativity. I actually have about four versions of the first few chapters (about 100 or more pages were thrown away) stored in my docs for if I ever feel the need to show an alternate beginning story-line. Perhaps if someone is just curious and wants to see! Anyhow, some of the writing is still a bit cringy at times I admit (and I humbly ask those of you to bear with me), but later forth and even between then I hope you manage to find the humorousness gems I attempted to deliver. It's sort of like finding a diamond in a sack of dung: worth it, I hope. It is no longer marked as completed, for I will add a few more chapters to this story, and it still wildly shifts, but have faith!
