Chapter 12: Arlene

Josh turned into a bunny again but in front of our friends and Alexa. Justin was the most surprised, pati yung babaeng kasama niya ay naguguluhan na. Justin quickly went with Krista to the kitchen to drink some water.

Hmm..ang sweet ah?

"Ken, anak." Nagulantang kami sa biglaang pagpasok ni Papa. "Alexa?"

"Paps." Sabi nito at niyakap si Papa.

"Ken, you need to escape this country." Sabi nito at tinignan ang hawak ko. "Is that him? Josh? You two need to leave the country, immediately."

Kahit na naguguluhan ay tinulungan kami nina Stell na ayusin ang gamit namin. Pagkapasok ko sa sasakyan ay nilapag ko si Josh sa passenger seat. His clothes are already packed with me. Private Plane ni Papa ang balak naming gamitin.

"BAHH!" Nagulat ako sa sigaw ni Josh.

I turned to him and he's a human again. Oh no! Baka hindi na mawala sa kaniya ang sumpa! He turned back into a bunny and stayed that way for a while.

Hangga't hindi pa sunrise ay safe pa siya. I heard Mom behind us, she was with Arlene again.

I stopped the car to face them.

Arlene was the very first bunny but when she saw me as a kid, she fell in love. Dahil may kapangyarihan sila ni Mom ay nagkaroon sila ng kasunduan. I refused to it since she was much older than me and I didn't like her pero nabulag si Mom sa kapangyarihan at pera.

"Mom enough! I will never love Arlene and she accepts it now! Bakit ba ayaw mo kaming tantanan?!"

"Dahil wala akong anak na bakla!" Parang may kung anong tumusok sa puso ko. "You should be thankful for everything I have given you pero ito ang isusukli mo sa akin?!"

"Enough!" Sigaw ni Josh.

Tumingin kaming dalawa sa papadating na araw.

He smiled at me. "It's okay, hun...makakasama mo naman ako palagi as Joshie."

"Josh, wag!" I yelled to catch him as he falls to his knees. "Love...please don't leave me like this."

"I'm sorry, pero kung ganito din lang naman ang kahahantungan ko." He said as he whipped my tears away. "I love you, Ken."

"Mahal din kita, Josh. Mahal na mahal." As he shut his eyes, I heard Arlene screaming.

"Tama na, Daliah!" Sabi niya kay Mom at hinugot ang kuwintas nito sa leeg ni Mom. "You have shown me how love is, Ken. I'm sorry for bringing the both of you into this mess."

With that she came closer and touched Josh's head.

"In my powers, you shall wake up." Sabi nito at ngumiti sa akin. "The curse has been lifted. Go and be happy with one another."

As the sun rises, she melts away. Nakahabol sa amin sina Papa at kinuha si Mom. Alexa ran to me with all our friends behind her.

"Are you safe? Nasaktan ba kayong dalawa?" Tanong ni Pablo.

"Josh isn't awake yet." Sabi ko sa kanila. "Nasaan si Justin?"

"Inaalagaan si Krista." Sagot ni Stell.

Binuhat ko si Josh sa sasakyan at inuwi na. Alexa was going around the world with her friends and started performing for small events.

Pau and Stell...they have been in a rough situation recently but they're still fine. Josh has been in a coma for 5 weeks at hindi ko alam kung paano siya magigising. I miss my grumpy bunny.
