Diluc noticed the two, Such an odd paring..., is all he could think. He came over to the two, crossing his arms while glaring at venti. He hated whenever venti came in, as it would always end in him being severely drunk. He sighed, "What can I get you both?"

"Just a grape juice for me please! I hope you're doing well, Diluc!" Barbara responded and smiled.
"I am doing quite well Barbara, I wish you the same. Now for you...Venti."
Venti was met with a glare but he laughed it off, "Ehe! Your finest dandelion wine please!"
"Very well then, I'll get your drinks."

"So your name is Venti? That's a very unique name!"
"Yes it is, and I'm assuming that to be a compliment! Since you know my name, I do believe it would be fair to trade over your name. So may I ask what exactly is your name?"
"Oh that's actually quite rude of me isn't it? I totally forgot to tell you my name, I sincerely apologize! My name is Barbara!"
"Ehe! Don't worry about apologizing, after all we did just meet!"

As venti smiled, so did Barbara, she just felt his smile so contagious and his voice seemed to sound so cheerful constantly. She looked at his braids, fascinated by the teal fade in them, and thought about how he got them that color.

"Venti, how do you get your braids to be that color? They look so amazing!"
"That's a secret~"

Venti couldn't help but chuckle, then their drinks arrived. Venti began to drink his wine as Barbara drank her grape juice, and it was per usual that venti kept getting refills. Eventually venti had his arms on the table and his head on them, facing Barbara. Of course when you do get majorly drunk, you blackout, and within a little while he did just that. Venti was now asleep in that position, and Barbara called over Diluc*

"Yes, Barbara?"
"Do you know where Venti is staying, it seems that he is a regular from your attitude after all. I'd like to help him there, as a member of the church it is my duty that people don't end up injured. I'm afraid if I leave him alone, he'll end up getting himself injured."
"He doesn't exactly have a place to stay, after all he is a traveling bard. Yet when he is in mondstadt, he is always here"
"Oh, I see...I suppose I can take him back to the church then! Thank you for the drinks tonight, here's the payment!"

After handing Diluc the payment, she woke up venti just barely and managed to get him to the church. She helped him onto a bed and sighed, she didn't like it when people drank but it was something that she had just learned to brush off. Venti was still slightly awake and was slurring his words when he addressed Barbara and began to slightly cry.

"Barbaraaaaaa, did you kidnap me?"
"Oh dear Barbatos no! I just brought you back to the church for some well needed rest, I can assure you, you're safe here."

Venti was left thinking until he eventually stopped responding and fell asleep again. Barbara went to her own room and began to get ready for the night, which she soon fell asleep as it was quite late. She awoke the next morning and went to check on Venti which was sitting on the bed rubbing his head from the massive hangover he had.

"Actions have consequences, just like he used to say...But dandelion wine is one of the best beverages in the whole world of Tevyat! How could I say no to such a splendid creation?"
"Venti, you're awake! How do you feel? You should really lay off the drinking, after all it can majorly affect your health..."
"Oh, don't worry about me Barbara! I'll be just fine, thanks for taking me here."
"I just didn't want you to get hurt, so I figured it would be the best option. Would you like me to get some medicine for your headache?"
"That would be much appreciated Barbara, I'll play you a tune in return for your kindness!"

Barbara went to go get the medicine, and once Venti got it he began to play a tune on his lyre. Barbara watched his hands closely and even began to sing along.
