Mondstadt truly was a beautiful view, it's lights shined beautifully and painted the perfect picture of the small city. Venti smiled as he saw what had become of his land of freedom, and then looked at Barbara who was smiling. He wondered what went through her mortal mind, as he knew he would never understand them fully...After all he is a mere wind spirit who managed to secure the throne as the anemo archon. They were greeted by the guards and welcomed in, and one even tried to ask Barbara for her autograph. Venti could see Barbara was tired and needed rest, so he spoke up.

"I'm afraid that my dear Barbara is quite tired from our trip out, so I would really appreciate if you would ask another time that is appropriate."

The guard responded respectfully and let them go on their merry way, but Barbara couldn't help but blush at what Venti had called her, "my dear". She then realized why her one hand was so warm the entire trip, as she glanced at her hand then back up at Venti. She didn't want to remove her hand, but also it may be a bad image...She was confused, and didn't know what to do...Venti looked at her face and had noticed that she noticed.

"Sorry I didn't say anything...Here, I'll let go."

He smiled as he began to let go of Barbara's small hand, but she held onto his hand as she smiled.

"My hand is cold without yours, you don't mind warming it up, do you?"

Venti's cheeks brushed a light pink and he closed his hand back around her's wondering why he felt a uncertain feeling in his stomach. He sees mortals holding hands all the time, so why is he nervous. Besides, he's a god, holding hands should be the least of his worries. He saw Good Hunter's and decided to speak up.

"How about we get some food? I have some left over mora from playing recently."

Barbara smiled softly and nodded, "Sure, why not Venti."

After Venti managed to dig up some mora for dinner, and not allowing Barbara to pay as he felt it was rude, he sat at the fountain with her. They sat there for a while and Venti glided his hand over her's without even thinking about it, then began to talk about dandelions.

"What do you think about dandelions?"

"I don't know, I've never really thought about them too much other than when they go into medicines prepared by the church."

"Well, have you ever noticed their color? They're the same color as an anemo vision."

"I suppose it is a nice color to look at..."

"I bet you don't know the meaning of them though~ Ehe, I like to spend my time learning about nature."

"Oh really? What do they mean then Venti?"

"Curious aren't you? Oh well I dont knowwww~"

"Such a tease"

Barbara chuckled a bit, she liked Venti's carefree attitude and his humor...It felt like all her burdens were gone, as she was never reminded of her church responsibilities or her idol responsibilities around him...It was like she was free...Like she was being carried by the wind...Yes...

I like this freedom you bring me, Venti. Thank you, and continue to carry me please. Thank Barbatos that I got to meet you Venti.

He heard her thanks in his mind, after all he is the mighty Barbatos she just thanked. He smiled and stared at her, then got up and offered his hand.

"Allow me to take the princess up to her tower~"

They both shared a laugh and went up to the church, then he kissed her hand and walked away. Barbara stood there with pink cheeks, but brushed it off.

That's just a polite gesture done to ladies, it doesn't mean anything specific...But if it did...I would cherish it even more.
