After lots of practice Barbara was able to hide her wings and it was time to visit Mondstadt together in over a year of not being able to. Barbara skipped over the bridge, Venti walking right behind her. Venti couldn't help but smile, knowing that Barbara would forever be by his side...He looked over the side of bridge, thinking to himself how perfect it would be to propose during sunset...Yes. He had bought rings in Liyue for the two of them so he could propose once Barbara was all healed, he was excited and almost got caught looking at the rings one time in the house. Venti caught up to Barbara and took her hand, the two of them walking together now as they looked around the city. They paid a visit to the knights of favonious headquarters in order to see Jean in her office.

Barbara and Venti knocked on the door and heard "come in" so they followed the command. Jean looked up at her little sister, happy to see her, "Barbara, you're back! I was...worried about you."

"My my, the cuties are back in town.~" said a voice from the bookshelves. They looked over to see Lisa leaning over the railing.

"I missed Mondstadt too! I'm happy to be able to visit again! Sorry if I worried you Jean..."

"Well, why don't we all go out for a little lunch break? My treat~" said Lisa as her stomach growled.

Jean tried to object but Lisa began to drag her along all the way until they reached good hunter. They sat there, Venti playing his lyre to fill the silence. They had a good meal and it was soon sunset, Venti brought Barbara to the bridge and fed the ducks with her. They tossed bread crumbs down and when the sun was setting to make the sky turn a beautiful hue of orange, Barbara looked up while Venti knelt down on one knee. He pulled the box out of his pocket and opened, waiting for Barbara to look over at him. His nerves were high, his hands slightly shaky.

Barbara was looking at the sky and looked over to her side, not seeing Venti until she looked slightly down. Venti was smiling at her as Barbara gasped, beginning to cry.

"Barbara, I have been ever so happy with you by my side...I sleep at peace knowing you're with me, knowing you're here to comfort me. I'm so glad we met all those years ago, and I'm sorry if I can be quite troublesome but I love you...I would like to ask you, will you marry me? Make me the happiest man in the world and marry me, please?"

Barbara nodded, wiping her tears, "Y-yes...oh my..."

Venti smiled, his shaky hands taking Barbara's and sliding a ring on her finger then Barbara slid one of the rings onto Venti's finger. Jean was watching from afar, poking her head out from the wall to see the magnificent scene. As much as Venti annoyed her, she knew he made Barbara happy...So she would put up with it. Barbara and Venti stood there in each other's arms for a while, a gentle breeze could be felt as well.

It was the wedding day. Barbara got dressed up in a traditional Liyue Wedding dress as the wedding was taking place in Liyue over by Wangshu Inn. Jean was in the room with her, watching Barbara get dressed and also have the pre-marriage nerves. She had decided not to cover the anemo mark and her gorgeous white wings would be out, Venti would be doing the same. Venti was in a suit, chatting with Morax at the wedding setup. Shortly Jean arrived with Lisa and Klee, as Jean was the maid honor, Lisa was a bridesmaid, and Klee was a flower girl. Venti had Morax as his best man and then Ei and Nahida were also present as bridesmaids. People around town were gossiping about seeing the two come through, wondering why these two gods were in Liyue...It was because an Archon had never married someone, but it certainly was important.

Soon the ceremony would start, Venti standing up on the platform at the end of the aisle waiting for his beautiful bride to show. Klee began to skip down the aisle, throwing the Cecilia petals on the floor and Barbara following behind walking with Jean. Barbara held her bouquet made of Liyue and Mondstadt flowers, her arm interlocked with Jean's, smiling at the man she would marry today. Venti was just about crying and had to wipe a tear, Barbara was just so beautiful with her long blonde hair down and the veil covering her eyes. When they reached the platform, Barbara grabbed Venti's hands and Jean stood in the line of bridesmaids. It was time to say their vows.

he began to speak, raising his hand, "With this hand I will lift your sorrows." Then he grabbed the wine glass off the table behind him,  "Your cup will never empty, for I will be your wine."

Barbara then raised her hand, "With this hand I will lift your sorrows." Then she grabbed the wine bottle, "Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine."

They both took a sip off the wine, setting the glass back onto the table. Venti took a candle and lit it, raising it up for them both to see the flames, "With this candle, I will light your way in darkness."

Then Barbara took the candle from his hand, "With this candle, I will light your way in darkness."

Venti exhaled, taking the rings from his pocket, "With this ring, I ask you to be mine."

Barbara let Venti slip the ring on her finger then she took the remaining ring, "With this ring, I ask you to be mine." And slipped it onto his finger.

The officiant themself was crying a bit, "I pronounce Barbara Pegg and Lord Barbatos husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

With that Venti held Barbara and dipped her as he kissed her, a memory to live on forever.

Oh my gosh this chapter was so fun to write but unfortunately it is the end. Not to worry though! I'll be making more works! For example a Xiaoven story is now on my page as well as an original book called "The experiments". However maybe I'll make a oneshot book? I could even through in some Venbara for you all! Originally I was going to end this book...on a sad note. *cough* Barbara dying *cough* but I decided to spare you all and end it with a happy wedding! Thank you for reading!
