Time is carried by the gentle breeze, quick and subtle...It's been a couple years now with Barbara and my love still hasn't changed...It's only grown into a strong wind from the little breeze it once was when we first met...I think I want to keep ahold of this wind forever, but...I need to find something to make sure death doesn't do us apart...

"Moraxxxxxxx!"
I say as I stand behind him while he reads, wanting his attention. He turns his head to me after putting his bookmark in.
"Yes Barbatos? Do you need more wine?"
"Nope! Ehe!~ I need help though!"
"So that's why you're being nice and not calling me 'an old block-head'. You amuse me Barbatos, but what is it that I can help you with?"
I sigh, taking a seat in the chair next to his, looking at his face now.
"I think...I want to make me and Barbara's relationship more, but I'm afraid that death will interfere...Have you found anything?"
Morax put his book on the table, understanding the seriousness of this conversation.
"Well...I could make her an adeptus...but there are downsides to that...It could go terribly wrong."
"What do you mean by that Morax? Is there a chance that making her an adeptus will also cause her to die?"
"No but it could alter her memory and it will most likely be very painful...Also people will know that Rex Lapis is alive and may begin to suspect you of being some type of adeptus and find out who you truly are. All actions have consequences, so you must think this through."
"I'll talk it over with Barbara...After all it'll be her body that will be affected. Thank you Morax, you stupid block-head."
"There's the name...But you're welcome Barbatos, if she doesn't agree to that then I'll continue looking for ways to make you mortal or her immortal."
With that I got up, going to the bedroom to sleep and wait for Barbara to get home from her new job of singing at one of the restaurants in town.

I woke up a few hours later and noticed the time, and so I began to play the lyre as Barbara would be home soon. Sure enough a few minutes later she entered, taking off her shoes and getting changed. I had looked away as a gentleman and she sat next to me, listening to the tune I was playing. I stopped playing after that song, looking over and kissing her. I tucked a piece of hair behind her ear as I pulled her in and held her close."Barbara, I have something to discuss with you...It's about the immortal and mortal issue as well as possibly taking our relationship...to a new level."
"You found someway to fix the life issue? Also, I do wish to become more than boyfriend and girlfriend...Our connection is so strong, and I just want to be by your side always..."
She gave me that sweet smile as I kissed her cheek.
"I'm...glad you agree...But the solution to our immortal problem is Morax turning you into an adeptus...He said there could be some consequences though...Such as extreme pain and possible altering of your memory. I just want you to know you don't have to agree, and I'll completely understand if you want to look for another way to solve this issue."
I gave her a smile as she looked at me with nervousness but also excitement.
"That is a big commitment but...If I get to be with you forever then...I'll do it! I'll become an adeptus so we can have this relationship forever!"
I was shocked, I didn't expect her mind to be made up so quick...She was so eager and so we decided on a date...It would be right after a trip to mondstadt so I'd be at my best health and be able to take care of her. She took time off work and after a quick visit to mondstadt Morax worked on a ceremony to make her an adeptus.
