• This will follow the storyline of Top Gun Maverick for the most part, with some obvious add in's or changes. • Of course there is a SPOILER warning for those who have not seen Top Gun Maverick. STOP READING NOW IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS • Some noticeable differences are the ages, I wasn't entirely sure the ages of the pilots however I've decided to have them late 20's/early 30's mostly. Also when it comes to the final mission, there will be five F/A-18's instead of four, all will be explained in the story. • This story will contain mature language and themes. • Lucille 'Thistle' will be Scottish (like myself) so the phrases she uses may be Scottish here and there. • The love interest for this book will be Rooster, however it will be more of a slow burn than an instant romance. There will be a slight Friends, to enemies to lovers in there. Enemies is a strong word but the best way to describe it lol. • This story will include first person and third person narrative. • My lingo might be slightly off as I am not a fighter pilot but I will do my best :) • Please enjoy and be kind :)
