After so many years......

Nagising ako dahil naramdaman kong may humahalik sa muka ko.

When I opened my eyes I saw the most beautiful woman in the whole world. The mother of my children.

"Good morning" saad niya habang hinalikan ang pisnge ko

"Good morning, gorgeous" tugon ko

She smiled at me and kissed my lips.

"Tumayo ka na diyan, hapon na oh. Nag puyat ka na naman, senator" saad niya

"Mamaya naaa" saad ko hahawakan ko sana ang kamay niya kaso pinalo niya agad ang tiyan ko

"Ouch, mahal. Waggg, masakit" saad ko habang nakahawak sa tiyan ko

She kissed my lips bago tumayo.

"Tumayo ka na, at maligo na. May Miting De Avance ka pa, mahal" saad niya

She approached the curtains and sidestepped them.

Wala akong nagawa kung di ang tumayo.

I approached her and hugged her back. I put my head on her shoulder as I sniffed her neck.

"Maligo ka na, mahal. You have Miting De Avance later ohh" saad niya

"Hmmmm ok,ok, kiss mo muna ako" saad ko

I could hear her laughing softly.

She turned to me and placed both her arms on my shoulders.

"I was impressed with you for the very first time I laid my eyes on you. And since then, you are making me proud of almost everything you do. I am that lucky person who gets to learn so much from you. I know life has not been that easy for you but finally, there is a better future ahead. I am so proud of your achievements, mahal. You are my inspiration, the love of my life. I love you" saad niya

"All the success that has happened and happening in my life is because of you, Mahal. I love you so much more than my life" saad ko

Hahalikan ko na sana siya kaso may kumatok sa pintuan ko kaya naglakad ako palapit sa pintuan para buksan ito.

Nang mabuksan ko ang pintuan ay bumungad sa akin ang dalaga ko. Kamukang kamuka niya ang mama niya.

"Dad, haven't you taken a bath yet? Anong oras na po, pupunta na tayong Miting De Avance later" saad ni ciara

Dalaga na siya ngayon, mas matangkad na ang mga anak ko sa akin.

"Not yet, bunso" tugon ko

"Why? Anong oras na, dad"

"Ngayong oras lang ako nagising eh, your mom woke me up" saad ko

"Mom? Mom woke you up?" Tanong niya

"Yes. She's there oh" saad ko

Lumingon ako at tinuro ang nanay niya na nasa kurtina. But when I looked at the curtain, her mother was no longer there.
