BILLY was a crazy driver, also kinda of a crazy person. He always sought attention from others, and it showed when he was in the driver's seat. He loved to see women staring at him, those who he could manipulate later on. Max detested him, always glaring from the backseat of his car. He knew how much Lennon hated cars, and he still drove like a maniac. Said girl always looked out of the window, trying to think of something else as they almost crashed several times in a row. She had asked him to drive better, but he ignored her. Anxiety creeped through her chest, her hand coming to message the skin above her heart.
As soon as they arrived to the high school, he got out, a cigarette on his mouth. Billy looked around, noticing people staring at him. Great. Lennon got out right after, also catching some people's attention, but they mostly only cared about Billy and his appearance. Max left with her skateboard towards the middle school, as Billy didn't want to drive her there first "Good luck!" Lennon called after her. Max showed her a thumps up, not looking back. Sighing, Lennon placed her arms above the car "Can't you just drive like a normal person?"
"No." He replied with a smirk. Billy walked away, passing by a group of girls who stared at him in amusement. Lennon rolled her eyes, glancing about to see a girl with short hair staring at her. She raised an eyebrow, and the other girl waved with a small smile. She had been caught staring, she had no other choice but to be nice. Lennon waved back, quickly walking away from the scene. The short haired girl frowned, watching her go.
Lennon walked inside of the school, being confused as to where her locker was. She had been given a paper with it, and also with her classes. Yet, she was very confused. When she found it, her presence surprised the girl on the locker besides her. She stared at Lennon, eyes wide. After she got her things inside of her locker, the redhead noticed it "Can I help you with something?"
The girl shook her head "Robin. I'm Robin."
She nodded "Lennon." Robin nodded, walking away in embarrassment. The redhead furrowed, being confused about what her deal was. Turning around, the girl with short hair appeared again.
"Hi! I'm Nancy Wheeler. I've been asked to show you around." She smiled brightly, confusing even more the redhead. How could someone have so much energy so early in the morning?
"I'm Lennon Mayfield." She nodded once, not knowing what to say to her anymore.
Nancy smiled again "Ok, we have our first class together. I'll help you find your other classes later," She noticed how distant the other girl was "if that's fine with you of course."
"Yeah, sure." Lennon was weary. When someone had a lot of energy around her, it kinda weirded her out. She was used to the opposite, solemn faces around her. Nancy was new. She didn't know if she liked new.
When they arrived to their first class, Nancy took a seat at the front row. Before Lennon could even chose her seat, the teacher stopped her "Oh, you must be the new girl." He said with a smile.
