ELEVEN's eyes were covered by a blindfold "I found him." She said as she saw Hopper. Lennon was pacing behind Mike, Will and Lucas, nervous. Max sat in front of them on the floor, right in front of El. The younger Mayfield glanced up at her sister, whose face showed how worried she was. She was in charge of all of them, with no word from Steve, Dustin, Nancy, Robin nor Jonathan.
"Where is he?" The smaller redhead asked.
"Woods." She simply replied.
"Woods?" Lucas repeated. Lennon turned to them, in the edge of panicking. She glanced about the young teens, her eyes landing on her sister. Max offered her a small smile, which she replied with one of her own.
"He's with... Will's mom." El revealed.
Will furrowed "My- My mom?"
"What are they doing?" Max asked El.
"Ill... annoy." Will and Lucas shared a confused look as Lennon tilted her head in thought "They're going to Ill-annoy."
"Mike! Breakfast!" Karen called out as she knocked on the door.
"Not now, Mom!" He called back "Illinois? Illinois, like the state? The state of Illinois?"
El glanced at Lennon, not having any idea of what that was "Ill-annoy."

While Max and Eleven were in the bathroom, getting the latter clean, and the boys chatted in the basement, Lennon helped Karen prepare the table for breakfast. Karen smiled at the teen as she focused on the plates "Thank you for taking care of them. They seem to have a lot of fun with you." Lennon smiled softly at that.
"Yeah, I don't know. I care a lot about Max, but also them. I just want to make sure they don't get in any trouble." Karen smiled with a nod, missing the thoughtful expression on the teen. I want to make sure they don't get themselves killed, she really thought. Suddenly, the front door opened, both of them turning to it.
Nancy sighed in relief once her eyes landed on her best friend "Thank God you're here." She pulled her into a tight hug, causing the redhead to send a confused look towards Jonathan. He didn't give her a reply, as he was smiling nervously at his girlfriend's mother.
"Hi, Mrs. Wheeler."
She smiled back, way more relaxed "Hi."
"No time to talk." Nancy grabbed her boyfriend's and Lennon's hand, walking towards the basement, where she guessed the kids were. As always.
She knocked on the door, pulling a face when Mike shouted "Not now, mom!"
"Mike, open the door." When he did, he saw Nancy, Lennon and Jonathan. The two by the redhead's sides looked worried, but Lennon looked confused.

Max leaned on her sister as they listened to Nancy, her eyes almost closed, feeling too relaxed by her sister's hand which caressed her hair "It was the same thing, the exact same thing that happened to Will last year." Nancy told them "And look at this. Look at the body temperatures." She said as she pointed at the chart she brought with her from the hospital.
