LENNON couldn't stand the silence as they walked back to the car after making sure Max was completely ok. Which obviously, she wasn't. But, now they had to leave. Getting inside, Dustin grabbed the walkie-talkie and walked away. Lucas leaned forward, glancing at Max as she stared forward in thought. She almost died. She was so close to be gone. And, after nights of wishing it would happen, she was now more sure than ever that she didn't want to die yet. Dustin came back, sighing as he sat back "Nancy said to meet at her house." He whispered, being heard by all but the girl with the headphones. Now, she had to play her favourite song over and over again in order to keep her alive.
Seeing as Lennon laid back, Max turned to her and asked "Are you ok?" Her voice came out weak, making them all frown. Lennon nodded at her little sister, kissing the top of her head before leaning back again, closing her eyes.
"I'm just gonna rest a little bit." She didn't see, but they all nodded in understanding. Lennon was exhausted. She almost lost Max, and she knew she would soon be next. But, now knowing that music could save them, she wanted to take a break with the hope that maybe they would make it out of that one alive. Max stared out of the window, relaxing as well. Weirdly enough, both sisters began having some hope.
It didn't last long tho.
Lennon never thought she would hear that laugh again. That damn laugh "That's not true, Lee! Alex broke up with Cindy because he was dating Marta. Not because her breath smells."
"Wouldn't have guessed it." She muttered a long time ago. This time tho, her eyes opened widely, turning to her left to see trees. Lennon knew what was going on, so she didn't dare to turn back. She was driving. And she wasn't in Hawkins anymore.
The other girl, Nicole, turned to her with a furrow "Hey, Lee. You ok?" As she believed the other girl had ignored her. Lennon began cursing under her breath, knowing if she turned she would cry. As she wasn't replying, Nicole placed a hand on her tight "Hey, love." Lennon turned to her harshly, her eyes widening even more.
"No, you're not real." She muttered, mostly to herself. She was there. With her white prom dress, and the earrings Lennon got her for her latest birthday. Looking down, she saw her own navy blue dress. She knew exactly where Vecna had taken her "Stop this! You wanna kill me!? Just do it! But take me out of here!"
"Love, what are you talking about?" Nicole asked, a worried expression on her face "You're scaring me."
Lennon shook her head, stopping the car in the middle of nowhere. Nicole watched as she turned on her seat "You're not real. I'm not-" She cut herself, chocking on a sob "I'm not your love. I-" She shook her head before stepping out of the car "Max! Max! Help me!" Nicole also got out of the car, confused "Steve! Dustin! Lucas! Help!"
"Lennon what the hell are you doing!? Who's Steve? Dustin? Lucas? What is going on!?" She exclaimed with her arms extended to her sides. As Lennon breathed heavily, leaning back on the car as she felt her chest tighten, Nicole grabbed her face softly "Why don't you tell me what's wrong?"
