Once we got back to Chris's house Posey instantly freaked out over Dodger.
"Mom! Chris has a dog and he goes away like you! Why can't we have one?" Posey asked as she petted Dodger and I sighed.
"Dodger has someone to watch him when I go away Posey." Chris said.
"Grandpa could watch him too like he watches me." Posey said and I sighed.
"We will talk about it okay?" I questioned and she stopped petting Dodger and stood with her arms crossed.
"Mama, that is what you always say and then we never do." Posey said and I groaned.
"We will, I promise." I said and she nodded.
"Hey, why don't you girls go get changed and then we will go swimming. I'll show you to the spare room." Chris said and I nodded as he took my hand and walked us to the spare room. I got Posey changed and then I changed myself. My bathing suit was a white bikini with a floral print. I put my coverup on and headed out of the spare room.

"Posey, go sit right in there with Dodger and I will go check on Chris." I said and she nodded as I headed down to his room where the door was closed. I knocked.
"Come in." Chris said and I opened the door to see him walking around in his swim trunks going to get a t-shirt.
"No please...stay as you are." I said and he laughed shaking his head and changed his path and walked over to me as I shut the door. He walked over and pinned me against the door with his hands on either side of my head leaning on the door.
"See...this isn't fair, you are objectifying me but you are all covered up." Chris said and I smiled.
"You just have to wait..." I said and Chris smiled and moved a hand to grab the zipper of my cover up and started to unzip it and I didn't stop him. Once it was open Chris looked down at me and he smiled and looked back up at me.
"Yes Mr. Evans?" I asked and he leaned in and passionately kissed me pressing his entire body against mine and I groaned.
"Chris...." I said as his lips moved to my neck.
"My child is in the living room and ready to go swimming." I said and Chris sighed but nodded.
"I know....I'm sorry." Chris said and I shook my head.
"Trust me, I wanted to continue with you later tonight..." I said and Chris smiled giving me a quick kiss and then walked over and got himself a t-shirt as I zipped up my cover up. We left the bedroom, stopped and got towels in the hall closet and we saw Posey playing with Dodger in the living room when we went to walk in.
"Hey I have a question..." Chris asked before we walked into the living room.
"What's up?" I questioned.
"You don't have a game this week right?" Chris asked.
"No we don't it's a bye week." I said.
"On Friday I have to go out of town until Sunday, just got some press to do. What if I brought Dodger to you guys to watch him. I will bring you food and everything. Gives you a trial run for a dog." Chris said and I sighed and then smiled.
"Yeah, why not. Let surprise Posey with it though later. Not right now." I said and Chris smiled
"Sounds like a plan." Chris said and we finished walking into the living room.
"Who is ready to go swimming?" Chris asked and Posey jumped up.
"I am!" Posey yelled and I smiled.
"Then let's go!" Chris said rushing over and picking up Posey and she giggled the whole way outside as he tickled her and I just smiled. This was going to be a perfect afternoon. We got out to the pool and I took off my coverup and I heard Chris groan as I saw him take off his t-shirt.
"Mommy! Chris had tattoos!" Posey said and I laughed.
"Yeah he does." I said as he got in the pool and I sat on the edge dangling my feet in. Posey ran up beside me.
"My mommy has some too!" Posey said and Chris smiled at me.
"Do you now....?" Chris asked and I smiled and turned so he could see my back where I had Posey's initials and then my wrist where I had a butterfly.
"Well we all had little secrets." Chris said and I smiled.
"I have to cover them up for work." I said and Chris nodded.
"Me too, if I'm shirtless." Chris said and I nodded. Posey looked at Chris.
"Can you catch me?" Posey asked and Chris smiled.
"Yep come on kiddo!" Chris said and Posey jumped into the pool and Chris caught her. He started spinning her around as he held her and she screamed and laughed. I smiled seeing her so happy.
"Mama! Are you getting in or what?" Posey asked and I laughed.
"You want me in the pool?" I asked and she nodded. She looked at Chris and he whispered something in her ear and she nodded. They started walking towards me.
"What are you two planning?" I asked and Chris put Posey on the edge of the pool and she came behind me.
"Posey Marie...." I said and she giggled as Chris got in front of me and Posey pushed as Chris gripped my waist and pulled me in. I was flush against Chris and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Any way to get me against you huh?" I asked and he laughed.
"Oh sweetie, I have other ways for us to be close but none right now." Chris said and I gave him a small kiss. He then released me and Posey went to jump back into his arms and I smiled. We all swam and played around for awhile and then finally decided to get out of the pool and Chris started to cook as Posey and I sat at the patio table.
"Mama?" Posey asked.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"I really like Chris." Posey said and I smiled.
"Me too." I said and she giggled.
"Chris my mom likes you!" Posey announced and laughed. He chuckled behind me.
"I like your mom too." Chris said. I turned to look at him and smiled, he winked at me.
"Chris, are you going to marry my mom?" Posey asked and I choked on the drink I had just taken.
"Posey!" I said and she shrugged.
"What when you like someone you usually get married." Posey said.
"Well you should be in love when you get married..." I said and Chris nodded in agreement.
"Well do you love Chris?" Posey asked and I sighed.
"Posey..." I said.
"Posey, your mom and I just started dating and we have to see how things go but love is something people usually get to in relationships. I can't see the future so I don't know what it holds for me and your mom but I am willing to try if she is." Chris said and I smiled at him.
"I'm willing to try too." I said. I walked up to Chris at the grill and gave him a small kiss.
"Good because I want you two to get married." Posey said and I laughed shaking my head.
"Should I be worried my kid wants me married off?" I asked Chris and he nodded.
"You probably should be. Although she may just want you happy....are you happy?" Chris asked and I smiled up at him.
"I am but I will be happier once food is done." I said and Chris smiled giving me a small kiss and I went back and sat with Posey as he and Chris talked and I realized how content my life was with Chris and Posey.
