You just sat at your desk, feeling really bad for mixing them up...again.
"Hey (Y/N), you wanna start working on the project?" Hikaru asks while walking up to your desk.
"Y-yeah," you say feeling like a moron and leaving Kaoru behind, while you walk with Hikaru to his desk. You and Hikaru, well mostly you, get straight to work.
~Time Skip to Lunch~
You grab your lunch and see Haruhi sitting at a table. You quickly walk over to her and sit down.
"Hey Haru," you say cheerfully.
"Hey (Y/N)-chan," Haruhi replies.
"So Haruhi..." you say with your head down in embarrassment. You shouldn't have to ask Haruhi how she knows the difference, you should be able to tell!
"Yeah?" Haruhi asks as she stares at you strangely.
"How can you tell the twins apart?" You ask, hoping she could help you.
"Well sure they look a like, but they couldn't be more different," Haruhi says trying to get your attention.
"But don't feel bad, just because you can't tell them apart, lots of people-" you interrupt her, being dead serious.
"Well I can't help but feel bad!" You say standing up, enraged at yourself.
"I want to tell them apart, just like you Haruhi!" You say, shocked at what you just told her.
"Just like you..." you mumble to yourself.
You feel a tear surprisingly fall down your cheek, and a concerning Haruhi staring at you. You quickly wipe the tear away and run out of the llunchroom, hurrying into the bathroom. 'Just like Haruhi,' you thought to yourself. 'That's why I wanted to come back, to be like Haruhi. I've always wanted to be like her!' Your head starts to spin and you remember everything from the time you met Haruhi.
~Flashback~
We were both in the 7th Grade at this time and it was the Spelling Bee championship. You and Haruhi were the only ones in the game and you were given the word idiosyncratic.
You took a deep breath, "I-D-I-O-S-I-," then the buzzer rang and you were given the 2nd Place ribbon while Haruhi won.
'I'll beat her one day,' you thought to yourself. 'And then she'll get the 2nd Place ribbon.
"Good game," Haruhi said, stretching out a hand to you.
"Tch, yeah whatever," you replied, shaking her hand. For the whole 7th Grade you envied Haruhi, always wanting to be better than her. Then, 8th Grade Year Haruhi was in all of your classes and the both of you became best friends after an incident happened, but deep inside you still wanted to be better than Haruhi.
~Flashback Over~
A couple of tears stroke down your cheek, but you regained yourself shortly after. You weren't going to give up, yes you still want to be better than Haruhi, but that is in the past. Right now your main priority is telling those twins apart!
You left the bathroom and saw Haruhi calling out your name in the hallway.
"Hey Haruhi, over here," you yelled. Haruhi turned her head towards you and ran over to give you a hug.
"(Y/N), are you okay? What happened?" Haruhi asks, now sounding paranoid.
"Oh- I'm fine. It was nothing," you say rubbing the back of your neck. Haruhi was giving you a concerned look because she knew you were lying.
"Okay, whatever. If you don't want to tell me then I can't force it out of you," Haruhi sighed.
"Come on, let's go back to the lunchroom." You nodded your head and followed Haruhi back.
~Another Time Skip~
"Hey (Y/N), wanna come to the Host Club?" Haruhi asks.
"I don't know," you say averting your eyes.
"Pretty please, you're the only normal person aside from Mori-senpai," Haruhi pleaded.
"Ok fine, I'll come," you say, giving in. You and Haruhi walk up to the huge doors of Music Room 3. Haruhi opens the doors, and once again rose peddles fill the air.
"Welcome Princess~," Tamaki says, kissing your hand.
"Senpai! Cut it out," Haruhi commands, rolling her eyes.
"But Haruhi~," Tamaki gives Haruhi the puppy-eyes which were very charming; almost hypnotic.
"No buts," Haruhi informs as she wags a finger in Tamaki's face teasingly. Tamaki runs to the same corner as yesterday and starts to sulk again.
You sigh and walk over to one of the couches in the rroomwhike Haruhi follows.
"Hey (Y/N), wanna play the which one is Hikaru game?" The twins ask in uunison unsurprisingly.
"N-No thanks," you reply, shaking your head.
"Aww... c'mon (Y/N)," the twins plead.
"Now's not the time, our guests will be arriving shortly," Kyoya says, typing on his computer. Saved by Kyoya...
Soon after the doors swing open and everyone gets to their place, you just follow Haruhi to her little area. A few girls come and sit down, some staring at you and some just ignoring you. You start to zone-out after about 5 minutes of non-stop talking.
"Hi, are you friends with Haruhi," one of the girls ask.
"Oh yeah, I knew Haruhi in middle school," you inform her.
"Oh- I saw you two hug earlier in the hallway," another girl adds. Most of the girls coo and some glare at you, you just don't pay any attention to them.
"Well we just haven't seen each other in a while," you tell them, with a sheepish smile.
"Did you guys date," a girl asks.
This time all of the girls cooed, except two girls who continued to give you evil looks. You and Haruhi sighed and she tried telling them that we were just friends. You quickly gave up on arguing the truth, and just looked around the room; absentmindedly. You noticed one of the twins staring at you. You both met each others eyes and blushed a bit, then the other twin snapped his brother back to reality and looked in the direction he was staring. He gave you a smirk that made you blush even darker.

I wrote this one pretty fast so sorry if it was bad. And if it was confusing at the end. Sowy! :3
