Chapter 13: Car Rides Home

You wake up, stretch, yawn, all the usual morning routines. You check the time, 9:54, you walk over to the door and see a folded up piece of paper...

Dear (Y/N),
Thank you for always staying by my side, you're a true friend. You always know what to say and what to do, my life would be so different without you. Also thank you for helping through that storm, I don't know what I was thinking going out like that, I'm so sorry for making you worry. Never forget that me and the Host Club will be here for you. And thanks for going through this and reading this letter.

You hug the piece of paper, you loved when Haruhi would write you letters, like after the Spelling Bee she wrote you a letter about doing a great job. 'Haruhi'

There was a loud bang on the door making you jump back, "MORNING (Y/N)! COME ON WE'RE WAITING FOR YOU!!" two familiar voices yell through the door. You sigh and grab all your things and walk out of your room and see the Host Club standing there patiently.

"Where are all the girls?" you ask.

"They've already been picked up, we decided to wait for you," Kyoya answers. You reply with a small smile. Suddenly a car arrives in front, "I hope you don't mind, but I called Jeno to pick me up," you say.

"Oh that's perfectly fine," Tamaki says.

"Is it ok?" you ask, specifically looking at the twins.

"Fine..." they both reply.

You all get into the car, you sitting in the front, the twins and Haruhi in the middle and Mori, Honey, Tamaki, and Kyoya in the back. "Hey (Y/N)," Jeno greets.

"Hello, I hope it's ok that my friends ride."

"Yeah it's fine."

~In the Car~
"(Y/N)-chan! How did you and Jeno-chan meet?" Honey asks.

"Funny story actually," you say sheepishly.

"Ooh~ story time," Tamaki says.

You chuckle. "Well my parents and Jeno's parents were good friends."

~Flashback~
"Jeno-chan! Where are you~," you say sneakily looking around. You see a bit of brown hair sneaking around, you jumped on the walking object, "I found you!"

"Aw no fair," he pouted.

-Time Skip-
"(Y/N)!" you turned around and saw someone running towards you, "we're going to the same middle school!"

You jumped up and hugged the boy. "That's fantastic, we get to stay together!"

-Time Skip-
"Jeno, Haru I have to tell you something..." you say your eyes watering.

"What's wrong?" Jeno and Haru ask.

"I-I'm...leaving to the states." All of you had tears in your eyes.

"Why?" they ask.

"It's my dad."

"B-But (Y/N) you can't leave yet," Jeno pleads.

"I know it's hard, but I ha-"

"I-I love you, (Y/N)!" he yells, "I always have." Your eyes get big, tears fall out of them, "Jeno..."
