Chapter 8: Are you ok?

Your POV
"(Y/N) are you ok?" the twin asks. "Yeah," I say with a small smile. "Are you sur-" 'Ding' the bell rings. "Yeah let's head to class," I say, giving a fake smile and walking off.

'I shouldn't have lied, but I don't want him to worry. Why does he care anyway?' you think to yourself.

"Hey (Y/N) how are you holding up?" Haruhi asks, trying to keep up with me. "Fine," I reply bluntly, walking faster. "Is she ok, Haruhi?" I hear the twins ask Haruhi, "I don't think so," she replies. "Hey (Y/N) are you sure you're ok?" the twins ask, "Yes! Yes I'm fine, why do you care anyway?!" I yell, running off.

'Ugh why'd you do that (Y/N)? You shouldn't have yelled at them like that, they're just trying to help. Whatever they don't need to care about me, it's almost been two years, I'm fine, right?'

Kaoru's POV
I need to catch up to (Y/N). Why is she acting differently. I start running, but Haruhi grabs my arm, "What are you doing?" I ask, trying to yank my arm away, "I have to catch up to (Y/N)." "You should let her be alone for a bit," Haruhi says.

-Time Skip to after Host Club-

Normal POV
"Where's (Y/N)-chan?" Hani asks. "She's not coming," Haruhi tells him, "Why not?" Hani asks, with puppy-dog eyes, "She's going through some stuff," Haruhi pats his head. "What's wrong with daddy's other little girl?" Tamaki asks, "I don't know, but she doesn't want to talk about it," Haruhi says, before the Host Club 'King' gets any ideas. "But it's the Host Club's responsibility to make sure every girl in this school is happy," Tamaki says, trying to make a point.

"Boss she doesn't want to talk about it so you should leave her alone," Kaoru says joining the conversation. "We should try to talk to her, we didn't have as much customers today without (Y/N)," Kyoya says. "Why is that Kyo-chan?" Hani asks, "Well some girls like talking to Haruhi and (Y/N) both," Kyoya says, typing on his laptop, "and some girls ship (insert Haruhi and your ship name)."

-Meanwhile-
You're walking around the school garden.
~Flashback~
"(Y/N) aren't the flowers beautiful?" the soothing voice said, "Of course, and they smell amazing," you say, smiling cheerfully.

"The kids at school don't like me," you say, "Why would you think that?" the voice said. "No one talks to me," you continue, "Well the kids there don't know how amazing you are," said the voice.

"(Y/N) you got a letter and some flowers, from you know who," the voice said.

You read the letter:
Dear (Y/N),
I'm sorry I can't be there right now, but I love you so much, my little flower. Happy Birthday!
Love, Dad
~Flashback Over~

"I miss you guys so much," you say, while you pick up a flower. "I can't believe it's been 5 years, Dad, and almost 2 years, Mom."

Sorry this chapter is shorter than the others, but I can't really think of any ideas, right now. So I think we all know what happened 5 years ago and what that weird dream was about and the 'incident' Reader-chan talked about a few chapters back. I hope you guys are enjoying the story so far. Comment please. I'll try to update soon!

P. S. I'll make the other chapters happier, I feel like this chapter is a bit depressing. Sorry about that.
