Lucy's POV
I rolled around in my bed, obviously uncomfortable.
It felt like I was supposed to feel comfortable, but I wasn't.
I wasn't talking any sense, was I?
Suddenly, the door opened and a figure came in.
I didn't say anything.
Then I felt the bed dip beside me.
After a moment, someone was hugging me.
Very naturally that it seemed like he's done it forever.
"Lockwood?" I asked.
"Shhh," he said and just cuddled me.
I would be lying if I said I didn't mind.
Because I did mind.
"Excuse me," I said coldly. "I don't think strangers like us are supposed to be cuddling in bed at night, really. I wish you could go out of my room right now, if you wouldn't mind, and let me have some sleep,"
Even in the darkness of the night, I could see his reaction.
It looked like he was shot.
He looked pained.
A tiny bit of my heart felt guilty, but I knew it was the right choice.
"Forgive me," he said.
What?
And then he crashed his lips onto mine.
