Lockwood's POV
"WAKE UP LOCKWOOD!" George shouted, successfully waking me up.
"Hi George," I yawned.
So, the night under the stars was a dream? Eh.
I've dealed with worse.
Wait.. A dread dawned on me.
"George, I'm still engaged to Lucy, right?" I asked, scared for the answer.
"Well, duh," he said sarcastically.
I sighed in relief.
"Like, Lucy Joan Carlyle, the one who came here to work years ago, my girlfriend, fiancée, the one who got an amnesia?" I asked.
George counted his fingers. "Yes, yes, yes, yes, and no,"
"What the heck do you mean no?" I asked, my voice raspy.
"Her name is Lucy Joan Carlyle, the one who came here to work, your gf slash fiancée but with no amnesia. Did I get it right?" He asked.
"What do you mean 'no amnesia'?" I asked. "She got into a car accident on our wedding day, right?"
"I have no bloody idea what you're talking about, mate,"
"George," I said. "What year is it now?"
"2024," he rolled his eyes.
"Woah woah woah, hold up," I said, wide eyed. "2024????"
"Uh, yeah," George said, his eyebrows scrunched.
It was 2025, the last time I checked. Like, February 2025.
It was a dream.
All a bloody dream.
Lucy had no amnesia.
"What the actual fuck?" I swore. This situation was really swear worthy.
I tried pinching myself, turns out this is reality.
THE SECOND PROPOSAL AND ALL THE DRAMA WAS ALL A DREAM IN ONE NIGHT.
"GAH!" I said, confused.
"I'm surprised you're not preparing already." George said as he checked his watch.
It was only then I realized he was wearing formal clothes.
"Are we going somewhere?" I asked.
"Uh, yeah Lockwood. We're going to your wedding."
