Lucy's POV

"I.. I can't do this," I breathed in and out hard.

Katarah reassured me again and again that all I need to do is walk down the aisle, that's it. And I become Lockwood's wife.

God, that's something that will always feel weird on my tougue. Me being Lockwood's wife.

"You'll be fine, love," she told me, adjusting my veil.

I kept my wedding look simple, like what Lockwood would have liked.

I wore a white dress with lace borders and 3/4 sleeves and instead of a crown nor a tiara, I chose a wreath of light blue flowers.

My hair has grown a lot, so some random lady curled it and styled it to a moderately simple style.

Lockwood and I chose to get married in summer, because really, who wants to get married freezing? Just kidding.

We just thought it would be great, no, perfect getting married in the summer, so yeah.

Katarah was my maid of honor, she chose a light pink dress which complimented her dark hair well.

I breathed in and out.

"I can do this," I said nervously to myself.

"Of course you can," Katarah said. "Now, go meet the love of your life,"

"O..Okay," I stuttered.

"Just follow me," she said, and then walked down the aisle.

Gah!

I shakily walked, following her slowly. I knew it was a good idea to not wear those heels. Good thing I chose pumps. At least they weren't sneakers now combat boots. Oh, how I miss my old worn out shoes..

A little later on, I saw Lockwood down there, way far from me but his smoldering gaze could burn holes on me. As soon as I spotted him, I felt more relaxed, and today didn't seem as terrible as I thought it would be.

Before I knew it, I was already very near Lockwood, who was smiling like there was no tomorrow.

"You look beautiful," he whispered to me as I blushed profoundly.

We were at the altar already.

Lockwood chose to say the words instead of the priest, or whoever you guys would want to think of.

"I, Anthony Lockwood, promise to love and take care of you, Lucy Carlyle, forever and ever until the day I am separated from you. We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to make something that will. I will never, ever be more thankful of the day you walked inside my home for the first time, making me fall in love with you at first sight. Even until now, you make me fall in love with you again and again. Just one look from you and I'm gone already. Lucy Carlyle, you're the best thing I've ever had and I shall ever have,"

It was my turn, but I had to wipe the small tear that managed to escape. God, he was so perfect. I loved him so much.

I started the same with him.

"I, Lucy Carlyle, promise to love and take care of you, Anthony Lockwood, forever and ever until the day I am separated from you. I swear, I would never be standing where I am, if it weren't for you. You kept me grounded, you made me feel special, and you made me feel like I was the only person in the world worth everything. I really want to thank you for everything, you are the reason why I smile everyday, why I keep living. I love you so much, Lockwood, and now.. Kiss me,"

I heard some people laugh, but really, I couldn't see anyone except Lockwood.

"That's what I'm planning to do," he whispered.

Lockwood replied to me by kissing me fiercely like we were the only ones on earth.

George was just muttering some incoherent words that sounded a lot like disgusting, couple, mortifying, and a lot of grumbling.

Typical George.

Anyway, we broke away and gazed at each other for a moment.

"And I pronounce you husband and wife!" George said, making Katarah giggle from the side.

Lockwood's POV

I felt dreadfully confused, yet I realized maybe, these things were meant to happen.

Things don't just happen for a reason.

The dream made me realize my love for Lucy and up to what point I would go to make her love me again.

"What are you thinking of?" She asked quietly, later on at night where we were alone finally as husband and wife.

"A dream." I said.

"Tell me about it," she said.

"You had amnesia in a car accident. You forgot all about me. Then I made you realize love again." I said shortly, explaining practically everything in three sentences.

Her eyes widened.

"Oh my god," she said. "Thank goodness that wasn't real, because as far as I know, I'm Lucy Carlyle married to Anthony Lockwood."

"Correction: Lucy Lockwood," I smirked.

"Ah, I forgot." She said. "We just got married today,"

"Yeah," I said dreamily. "You're mine,"

"I'm yours," she assured me again.

"I.. I have this poem for you," I stuttered slightly.

"Bring it on," she said, smiling softly.

I brought out a ratty piece of paper. I had just written it after I had waken up that morning.

"Here's a cheesy poem about you and I,

About how you're the story of my life."

"Aww Lockwood, you made it so One Direction for me," Lucy said happily.

"I knew you'd like it," I said simply and continued.

"I know I loved you first,

But it seemed like you were taken by someone else.

My heart is only half a heart without you,

So I'm here to tell you now,

I will carry you through the dark.

I will cherish all those moments,

I'll be your summer love and forever after that.

I would never change my mind,

I would stay up all night,

Just to make midnight memories with you.

So let's live while we're young as

Nobody compares to you.

You're better than words, you make me strong.

I know none of these rhymes but I promise,

One day, I would write you the best song ever.

But right now, I know this little place

So why don't we go there

And I can tell you about

How I'm in love with you

And all your little things," I finished.

Lucy had tears in her eyes.

"I can't believe you took time to write me this," she muttered. "I love you,"

I loved hearing that from her, no matter how many times she said it.

So I expressed everything I felt from the moment I saw her: "I love you too,"
