Lockwood's POV
For quite a long time, she lay down on my lap as she began counting.. sheep? I don't know.
Before I knew it, she was sound asleep.
It was just like before the accident.
But I knew this wouldn't last.
I knew that for sure.
When she wakes up, she'll be deeply embarrassed and she won't be even able to look at me.
I knew her better than she knew herself.
So I gently carried her, very lightly so she wouldn't wake up (and that would be a very awkward situation,) to her room.
I lay her down on her bed and put a blanket on top of her.
I itched to lie down beside her, but of course, it was not meant to be.
I watched her sleep for a while (and don't think I'm like that lousy vampire from Twilight. I didn't stay all night.)
Then her phone beeped of a text beside the bed.
I quickly checked if she was still asleep.
Thankfully, she didn't even stir.
Then I turned to the phone and scowled at it.
Curiosity got the best of me and I quickly looked at her phone.
It was the phone I gave her quite a long time ago, about.. 3 years ago?
I can't believe she actually kept it until now.
Passcode..
I tried her birthday. It actually opened.
Next time, try making something less obvious, love, I thought.
It was a message from Scorpius.
At least she didn't save his name as 'my dear Scorpius' or something. Whew.
Anyway, talking about the message..
Scorpius- Good night Lucy :))
I just glared at the phone.
Then I got curious of what they actually talked about. I scrolled through their texts.
Lucy- Hi :)
Scorpius- Hello
Lucy- I made a ship name!
What the heck? Of her and Scorpius?
Scorpius- What's our ship name now?
Our? What?
Lucy- I figured, Scorpius and Rose, so... Scorose! Isn't it beautiful?
Who the heck was Rose now? My head was spinning.
I stared at the phone gingerly, and put it down.
I decided, no more snooping for me.
It would just put me in more confusion.
"Good night, love," I said quietly and gently kissed Lucy on her forehead.
