"How was your photoshoot?" Mom asked as Jacob and I walked into my house a few hours later. Grayson was fast sleep on Jacob's arms with his head resting in his shoulder and she smiled at the two year old.

"It went well, Louise said we should get a few samples by next week before we get the rest at the end of the month," I replied and she nodded.

"Will you be staying for the night?" She then asked turning to Jacob who was taken aback by the question and looked towards me and I nodded.

"I hope that's okay mama?" I asked and she nodded.

"Why don't you go ahead and lay Grayson down and come down for some dinner," she suggested and we nodded before heading towards the stairs but I paused making him turn to look but I smiled and nodded for him to keep going before making my way back to my mother.

"Are you sure it's okay for him to stay the night?" I asked and she nodded cupping my cheek with a smile

"I can't stop you from having him over. He's the father of your child so he's more than welcomed to stay any time." She stated and I bit my cheek before I nodded.

"So it's because I'm already pregnant that you're allowing him to to stay?" I asked and she shook her head.

"No," she answered making me look at her and she sighed, "I would have allowed him to stay even if you weren't pregnant I know that you would make the right choice and will respect our rules." I chewed the inside of cheek. "You're an adult, the both of you, regardless of what happened between the two of you to get to this point. I can see that he respects you and that's all that matters to your father and me."

"Thank you mama," I said and she smiled pulling me into a hug before pressing a kiss to my cheek.

"Now go on, go join that boyfriend of yours and help him get settled in before coming down for dinner."

"Have you guys ever thought about writing a song together?" Cam asked Jacob and I on Monday after school. We exchanged glances before shaking our heads and she nodded.

"I think you guys singing together would be great," Anton added and I bit my cheek while Jacob nodded.

"I mean we haven't really sat down and talked about collaborating or anything but I think it would be nice to have a song with her," Jacob said making me look up at him and he smiled making me return the smile and nod.

"What do you think, Brook?" Cam asked.

"I think that it'll be nice having a song with him," I agreed and she beamed and clapped her hands.

"Perfect!" She exclaimed making us look at her as if she's lost her mind making her roll her eyes.

"I wrote a song that I was gonna give to another artist but I think you two would be a better fit for it." Anton said and I nodded. Anton was an amazing songwriter and he's actually helped me write a few songs for my albums, one being A Little Bit Of Your Heart.

"What's it called?" I asked and he gave us a sheepish smile as he rubbed the back of his neck, "It doesn't have a name yet, does it?"

"No," he replied and I rolled my eyes, "But, we can think of one once you're in the booth and sing it." Jacob and I exchanged looks before nodding.

"Great," Cam grinned as she pushed us towards the booth, "I know this song will break records since your individual songs have both charted at #1 and #2 respectively on all music charts." I blinked and looked at her.

"Really?" Jacob asked and she nodded before taking out her phone and clicking on it before she pulled up Twitter to show some music chart thing showing that my single was second while Jacob's was first. I grinned.

"I told you," I said turning to him and all he did was stare wide eyed at the picture, "we were talking the other day that his single would be a number one hit but he didn't believe me." I turned to my friends who nodded.

"Congrats on your number one, Jacob." Anton said and Jacob blinked before nodding. He was still in shock and I didn't blame him. Anyone who was in his position would react that way.

"I'm so proud of you," I said turning to him and he looked down and a smile finally broke free as he pulled me into his arms and buried his face on my shoulder while I wrapped my arms around him.

"It's all because of you," he whispered but I shook my head and pulled back to look at him before echoing his face.

"I didn't do anything other than support you when you made the decision of becoming an artist, the rest was all you," I said and he hit his lip before I leaned on my tippy toes and gave him a peck on the lips. "Now let's go in there and record our first song and release it and get it to number one."

"Sounds like a plan," he replied before we walked into the booth while Cam and Anton sat down behind the keyboards that controlled the mic in the booth.

"Alright, you have the song, whenever you're ready," Cam said through the speakers and we nodded.

A soft yet beautiful melody filtered through the headphones before Jacob began the song.

There goes my heart beating
'Cause you are the reason
I'm losing my sleep
Please come back now

We looked at each other as he sang and god, this song was absolutely beautiful.

And there goes my mind racing
And you are the reason
That I'm still breathing
I'm hopeless now

He reached for my hand and I smiled placing mine on his.

I'd climb every mountain
And swim every ocean
Just to be with you
And fix what I've broken
Oh, 'cause I need you to see
That you are the reason

I closed my eyes as we held hands and I already knew what the song will be called. He gave my hand a gentle squeeze before the next verse came.

There goes my hands shaking
Cause you are the reason
My heart keeps bleeding
And I need you now

I never thought I'd ever do a song with someone else, let alone with Jacob. But you know what? I wouldn't change it for anything. Having a song with him was everything I never thought I'd ever need.

If I could turn back the clock
I'd make sure the light defeated the dark
I'd spend every hour, of every day
Keeping you safe

"That was perfect guys!" Cam explained through the speakers when we were done recording. Jacob and I put the headphones on the mics before joining the twins outside the booth, "wanna have a listen?"

"Yes," we replied and she nodded before Anton pressed a button in the keypads and the song filtered through the speakers. It was truly one of the most beautiful songs I've ever sang.

"So have you guys decided on the title of the song?" Anton asked and we nodded.

"Only reason." We answered making him nod,

"It's got a nice ring to it," he agreed, "I'll polish it up before it can be released." He said.

"Alright, but that doesn't mean that we don't have other songs to record as well, you know?" Jacob said and Anton nodded

"I know, which means that you will each take turns in the booth now."
