June 23, 2021(40 weeks and 1 day along)

Brook was officially 40 weeks and a day along and our baby was due anyway now.

"I look and feel like a whale," my fiancée whined as she waddled into the living room with a hand in her lower back while the other rested under her bump.

"You look beautiful," I said as I helped her sit and she huffed before sighing as I lifted her swollen feet and began giving them a massage. She closed her eyes as she rested her head on the sofa's arm rest. "Has she been moving at all?"

"She's been moving all day," she mumbled as she rubbed her bump. She had pulled her shirt up and I could see the baby moving under her skin and placed my hand and gently rubbed her belly. "Where's Gray?"

"Mom and Trevor stopped by and asked if they could take him to the beach to give us some alone time." I answered and she nodded, "they should be home soon though."

"I'm glad that we've got our parents helping us with Grayson," she murmured and I couldn't agree more. I knew that Grayson will be very jealous when his sister comes, I mean he's already that way now as it is. He always wants to be close to us and would cry whenever Brook and I go to her doctor's appointments. We were planning on taking him with us to her last one today when mom and Trevor drop him off after their trip to the beach.

"I agree," I said just as the front door opened and Grayson's babbles filled the air making Brook and I smile.

"Jake?" Mom called as the sound of her and Trevor's shoes clicking on the tile flooring getting closer sounded.

"Living room," I called and they walked in and smiled when they saw us.

"Daddy! Mama!" Grayson squealed as he wiggled in Mom's arms and she chucked before setting him down on the floor and he ran over to us.

"Hi baby," Brook cooed as she picked him up as best as she could letting him snuggle on her, his head under there chin as he sighed with a smile before closing his eyes and was out like a light making the four of us chuckle.

"He had a great time," Trevor said as he and mom sat on the other sofa across from us, "he played in the sand, got his toes soaked in the water and made a new friend in the playground."

"We're glad he did," Brook said rubbing her fingers through his curly hair with a fond smile on her face before pressing a kiss to his forehead.

"You have an appointment today right?" Mom asked and we nodded, "do you want us to watch him while you're gone?"

"Thank you, but we're actually going to be taking him with us today. We want him to see his baby sister in order to get him used to idea of her." I said and they nodded.

We talked for a little bit longer before they had to leave and Grayson woke up an hour before we had to leave for the doctors so I gave him a quick bath and got him dressed before meeting Brook downstairs where she was packing him some snacks to eat since he didn't eat due to him falling asleep as soon as he got home.

"Ready?"

"Mhm."

A week later I woke up to Brook whimpering and shaking me l. It was a quarter to four in the morning and reached over to turn the lamp on.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I rubbed my eyes.

"Water...broke," she whimpered and that woke me right up as I jumped out of bed and everything from that lint was a blur as I helped her into a clean pair of pants and then down the stairs to my car as her parents and siblings stood at the door with her mom saying she'll bring Grayson to visit in a few hours and to keep them posted.

When we reached Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the nurses were quick to get us into a a delivery rom where they hooked Brook up to an IV and also a neural placed a band around her belly that monitors the baby's heart and contractions. They had gotten closer as time passed by and by 8:45 am Brook was screaming bloody murder as a nurse and myself each held her legs up as the doctor sat in front of her telling her push.

"Okay, Brook, I need you to give me one big push," the doctor said as Brook panted after having pushed for ten minutes.

"I can't," she whimpered, sweat covers her forehead as she closed her eyes. Her chest rose and fell as she breathed and tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Hey," I whispered making her look up and I gave her a reassuring smile, "I'm proud of you, and I can't say I know how it feels to push a baby out but I what I can say is that you're an amazing job baby, she's almost here. You can do it." She whimpered and I leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Just one more push love."

"Okay," she murmured as she looked at the doctor and nodded. She took a deep breath before pressing her chin to her chest as she pushed and then the most beautiful sound filled the room as Brook took a deep breath.

"It's a girl," the doctor said said as she placed our baby in Brook's chest and I swallowed the lump that had formed in my throat as tears welled on my eyes as Brook sniffled and held her against her chest. "Dad, would you like to cut the umbilical cord?"

I nodded and took the medical scissors form her and cut where she indicated before turning back to my fiancée and new born daughter.

"You did amazing baby," I murmured pressing a kiss to her lips as Brook smiled. After Brook was cleaned and the baby was checked over,we were taken to a private recovery room.

"She's beautiful," she whispered as she looked down at our little girl. She had her mother's dirty blonde hair and fair skin.

"Just like her mommy," I said and she looked up with a tired smile.

Two hours later, our families were gushing and cooing over her while Grayson had taken it upon himself to be his sister's guard and would glare at anyone who got near her. With all the excitement of meeting his baby sister, Grayson was fast asleep in ny arms.

"Have you thought what her name will be?" Mom asked a few moments later as we sat around the room.

"Hinata Victoria," Brook replied and mom blinked as her eyes filled with tears and we smiled.

"Oh Jacob," she whispered as Tory bit her lip as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"We talked and came to an agreement that she'll have the names of one of the strongest girls we've ever met and I know said girl will be the best aunty our girl can ever have." Brook said as she looked at Tory who sniffled as she smiled.

"She's got the most perfect names." Heather said and our dads and mom nodded in agreement while Wynter, Mickey and Vic smiled.

"I-I don't know want to say," Tory murmured as she wiped her tears away and we smiled.

"There's no need to say anything," I said walking over to her and pressing a kiss to the top of her head while being careful not to wake Grayson in the process, "she's lucky to have you as her aunty."

"She'll be the most loved." She said with a sniffle before asking Brook is she could hold her.

"Of course," Brook said as Tory walked over and sat on the edge of the bed before gently taking the baby into her arms.

"Hi little one," she whispered and we smiled as we watched her talk to her niece, "you are so lucky, you know that? You've got the most amazing mommy and daddy and big brother in the world."

I blinked my eyes as I felt them well up with tears, and I could see the others did as well as we watched my little sister with her niece. "I don't know how much longer I have to live and perhaps I may never know but what I do know is that for how ever long I have, that I'll love you and spoil you as much as possible but that'll be our secret, okay?" She leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead and smiled, "I love you so very much little angel."
