August 23, 2021 (Hinata is 2 months old)
The weeks following Trevor's birthday and Fourth of July went by in a blink of an eye and before we knew it, Hinata was two months old and our wedding was fast approaching. Jacob and I have been busy planning our wedding. We have also written a song for our first dance as well for when I walk down the aisle. It won't be released until a week after the ceremony but we will be posting a snippet of the song on our socials for our fans to pre-save the song.
"Can't believe you're getting married in 4 weeks," Wynter said as she sat beside me on the sofa while I fed my two-month-old baby. In four weeks I'll be married to the love of my life and I still couldn't believe it. It feels surreal to think that we were getting married. I never imagined that this would have been my life when I first started my senior year of high school but here I was. A high school graduate who was a mother of two beautiful children with one hell of a supportive family only a month away from marrying the bad boy of high school.
The boys that all the guys envied and all the girls fell to their knees too. A boy that was so closed off that his only way to deal with his emotions was to lash out and fuck around without a care in the world. A boy so misunderstood that people didn't take a second to know aside from his group of friends who knew who he truly was behind that coke mask he wore daily. A big one that had flipped my world in a way I never imagined and has only made it better with each passing day. And I couldn't have asked for anyone better because despite how our relationship had begun, Jacob has always shown me the sweet, caring, and lovable person he is.
"Brook? Hello? Earth to my dear twin sister?" I blinked and shook my head giving my sister a sheepish smile and making her raise a brow, "Where did you go in that head of yours?"
"Nowhere," I answered as she raised a brow but I just smiled, "now tell me, how did your date with Jett?" I saw a soft blush cover her cheeks at the mention of Jacob's friend and grinned, "Spill."
"Ugh," she grumbled covering her face and making me chuckle, "shut up,"
"Come on, tell me," I giggled and so she did. She rolls me how Jett had taken her ice skating before taking her to a cute little hole-in-the-wall diner downtown before going on a walk at the beach." sounds like a hallmark movie moment."
"It was nice," she said with a wistful sigh, "he said that he had a crush on me during our freshman year of high school and that he wanted to ask me out but never got the chance because his family had to move," she said and I nodded, "but at that time I was with Kevin."
"A douchecanoe," I said making her hum and nod her head, "so? What now then? Are you two an item or?"
She sighed and I stared at her knowing full well that she couldn't keep a secret to save her life and I could tell she was already starting to cave. I raised a brow and she grumbled as her face turned a bright red as she nodded making me grin.
"I knew it," I grinned, "Jacob owes me 50."
Wynter blinked before narrowing her eyes at me making me chuckle, "You bet on us?"
"We already knew about you becoming an item," I said and she raised a brow making me giggle, "Jett told Jacob who then told me," I said and she rolled her eyes, "but Jacob said that you wouldn't say anything but I told him that you wouldn't keep quiet. I mean don't get me wrong Winnie," I said and she glared at the nickname making me grin, "but you can't keep your mouth shut for more than a minute, no offense, sis."
"None taken," she huffed, "but seriously I can't believe you made a bet on me, that's just mean." She mumbled and I shrugged.
"Know I did it because I love you," I smiled, and she shook her head, "but on a serious note," she tilted her head, "I'm happy for you, you deserve someone who will treat you with respect and love you and I know Jett will do just that. He's a great guy."
She smiled and nodded, "I know."
Wynter and I talked a little bit more while I laid Hinata in her bassinet beside me on the sofa.
"Want to help me finish the invitations?"
"Yeah."
******
An hour later, Wynter and I were done with the invitations and had them sealed and ready to be mailed to all our guests. Just then the front door opened and the sound of Jacob and Grayson filled the air making me smile.
"Mama!, Aunty!" Grayson squealed in delight when he saw us and we smiled.
"Hi, babe," Jacob greeted me with a smile, "hi Wynter."
"Hello Jacob," my sister replied, "you owe my sister $100," he blinked at Wynter's words before he turned towards me and I shrugged but he sighed as he pulled his wallet out of his pocket and fished a 100 dollar bill before handing it to me, "I can't believe you would bet on me." Jacob make a look of realization at her words before giving her a sheepish smile as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Hey in my defense I said you wouldn't spill anything," he said making me chuckle while Wynter rolled her eyes, "I'm glad that you and Jett are finally an item, you guys look good together."
I loved seeing my sister happy and if Jett makes her happy thank I'm all for it, "if he makes you cry for any reason whatsoever,"
"I'll kick his ass if he hurts you, but I doubt that he'll do that since he's been pinning after you since freshman year." Jacob said matter of fact and Wynter nodded with a smile, "Speaking of, Jett said he'll be over later today with the others so we could go tux and dress shopping for them."
I nodded while Wynter's eyes widened before she practically flew out of the living room cursing at my fiancé for just telling us and I rolled my eyes w our chuckle while Jacob smiled as he sat beside me. "How was your day?"
"Good," I smiled and he nodded as he sat Grayson down so he could go and play with his toys by the corner of the room. "Mom and Dad offered to Hina to the park but they should be back soon as it'll be her nap time." Jacob hummed as he sat beside me.
"So, Cam said that we can go to the studio tomorrow and record the song we wrote," I said and he hummed making me smile as he laid his head on my lap with his eyes closed. It's crazy to think that this man was going to be my husband in just four weeks. He was one of a kind.
A work of art.
A brand new one joined the many black and white ones he already had littering his toned body. A little baby's footprint joined Grayson's hand print on his chest next to a heart that I had drawn on him with a kiss in the center in the shape of my lips. I had blushed when I saw it because I had joked about him getting it tattooed but this man was insane and had actually gone and done it.
"You're insane," I had laughed when I saw it after we had gotten home from the park with Grayson and Jacob only shrugged.
"Now people will know that I have a beautiful girlfriend and an adorable son." He stated simply making me shake my head with a smile, "just know I'll be adding to this one once our baby's here." And true to his words, Jacob had gone to his usual tattoo parlor a week after Hinata was born with a picture of her footprint and got it done. "You and our kids are my motivation to keep working hard in everything I do because I want you to have the best life possible."
"Any life is fine with me as long as we're together." I told him and he smiled as he pressed his lips to mine.
"Any life is worth it because you're in it, the three of you."
