y/n's pov
I was in math class. My teacher was called to the office, so a substitute came in. We were 10 minutes into the lesson, when I decided to start reading some stories off of my phone. *wattpad*
I had dived really deep into the story and felt as if I was living the "perfect" life.
Someone cleared his throat behind me. I didn't even dare look, because I already knew who it was. All I did was shut my phone off as fast as I could.
'You know, darling, this isn't even as close to what happens in real life,' he said.
'As if you'd know.' It slipped right through my teeth. My facial expression froze and I just stared forward. 'Oh, my God. I'm so sorry. I'm going to go now.' I started packing my things and didn't even waste the time putting them into my bag.
He chuckled, 'It's ok.' He smiled as he made his way back to his desk and sat down without breaking eye contact with me.
I exited the room as I whispered under my breath, 'How could I say that to my teacher? Ughhh!'
