Y/n's pov

I went into my room, closed the door after me and got comfortable on my bed. The mystery package was in front of me. I wasn't expecting anything.

I placed my hands on the top of the box, removing the lid.

All I could see was wrapping sheets and a note on top. It said: I thought I could return the gesture :) -N.

'What the actual fuck...'

There was only one person this could be from, but I yet hadn't dig deeper into the surprise that awaits me.

I started trailing my hands into the box, feeling something- a type of fabric to be more specific. I stood there for a bit, frozen. Many things had gone through my mind. When I had come back to my scenes I started digging faster and deeper into the package.

'Oh, fuck no...'

It was a fucking. Prom. Dress. I was happy that I didn't have to go to prom, because me and Ezra aren't a couple anymore, but it would seem disrespectful to not wear it. Especially if I kept it, so I had to give it back to him.

I didn't know if this is his way to apologise, but I was still furious at him.

At his house

Third person

On her way to his place she had time to think over his "gesture" and to be honest she didn't think she was that mad at him anymore. I was still mad of course, but not as much... He didn't really apologise, but at least he said thank you for last night.

She made her way into his drive way and got out of her car. As much as she wanted to storm into his home, she wanted to be civil and knock, so... she did.

Kock.

Nothing.

Knock.

Nothing.

Kno-

He opened the door. 'What do you w-' He lifted his face up and his emerald eyes met her coffee brown ones. 'Y/n... now is really not the best t-'

'I won't be long,' the girl answered before walking right past him.

He chased after her and pulled his hand in front of her. Just close enough to touch her breasts. She could feel her nipples rising and hardening.  She didn't budge. He didn't mean to do that, so he quickly moved it away from and stepping in front of her.

'I told you; now is not a good time!' He was clearly frustrated.

She was about his shoulders' level and just above them she saw something.

A kid. He seemed about 2 years old.

'Oh.' Y/n stepped back. 'I see.'

He followed the trail of her eyes, turned around and sighed.

'I just came to give you your dress back,' she said and handed him the box she received.

'Y/n... it's not what it looks like...' he started explaining himself.

'It's fine.' She faked a smile. 'You don't owe me an explanation.'

'Please, at least take the dress...' he begged.

'Goodbye, sir.'
