Third person
Y/n had to deal with people's apologies all day. It made her feel weak, because there was nothing she could or could've done. Since it was the end of the school year the lessons weren't really lessons anymore. Students were barely attending, let alone paying attention, especially with the teachers that couldn't control them.
Mr. Dale was not one of them. That's the reason everybody showed up for his class.
Y/n walked in with Ash. His hand over her shoulder. Nathan didn't appear bothered by that. I mean, why should he. A tall fit guy with hazel eyes and wavy black hair has his arm over a student's shoulder.
'Mister Taylor!' Mr. Dale exclaimed.
'Sir?' Ash wondered what he could've done now and took his hand off of y/n.
'You finally decided to show up.'
Even though y/n was standing right next to her fellow scholar he showed no affection to her.
He was keeping his promise.
'I was sick.'
'I see. You will have to take your physics test, though.'
'I'm aware. I will be taking it after your class. Mr. Astor is going to let me take it in his lesson.' Mr. Astor is the history teacher. Him and Nathan are the best looking individuals in the school and are quite good friends, but there is no doubt that he takes second place after Mr. Dale.
'Good. Now take a seat.'
The girl kept staring at his silky hair as his fingers went through it, but on the other hand Nate kept facing the board. His back facing the student's face. He knew if he were to turn their gazes would meet.
Halfway through the lesson Ash tries to get his friend's attention.
'Psst! Hey!'
'What?' y/n whispered.
'Why do you keep staring at him?'
'I am not!'
'Like hell you aren't. Oh, no! Not you, too.'
'What me too?'
'You like him,' he says a little too loud. Just enough for their teacher to hear, still keeping his cool, though.
'Mister Taylor!'
'Sir...'
'Mind keeping it down?'
'Of course, sir,' he obeys. 'This man isn't going to let us have any ladies,' he says, facing back to y/n. 'God, I wish I looked like him.'
The girl chuckled.
'Miss Aeron!'
'Sorry...' she quickly added, '...sir.'
'If I'm disturbing you and your boyfriend, you are free to leave.' He turned around and clapped his hands together, trying to get the dust from the chalk off of them. Still fighting the urge to look at her.
'No, sir.'
'Very well. I shall continue then...'
She wondered what had gotten into Mr. Dale to cause his behaviour change.
