Y/n's pov

I helped him out of the car. I struggle to carry him, due to his immense and well structured body. God, this man probably workouts every day!

'Where are your keys?' I asked.

'In your hand...' his low voice let out. A slight smirk appeared on his face, while his eyes were closed.

'Your house keys...' Was he just playing dumb or was he actually this drunk to not know what I'm talking about.

'Oh...' He patted down his coat and took them out of one of the pockets. A slight snicker left his mouth. Yeah, he wasn't playing...

I didn't see this fierce, self-absorbed man anymore. He looked more like a little boy.

I unlocked the house. The smell of his cologne escaped through the front door. I put his left arm over my shoulder and helped him get to his bedroom.

I wasn't over the fact that he acted like an ass in school, so I literally dropped him on the bed.

'Bye, sir,' the words came out of my mouth in a cold tone.

Just as I turned around to walk away he grabbed my hand, resulting me to turn around. His face looked helpless and pale.

'Wait! Don't go. I'm s-' He quickly rolled off the bed and vomited. All. Over. My. Dress. And his shirt. I still stand by the comment I made earlier that I hated my life. It's just getting worse by the second.

'Great!' There was no way in hell that I was going out of his house in that condition. 'I'm getting out of the room, so you could take your shirt off and I'll put it in the washing machine.'

He didn't seem to hear me. Not one of his muscles moved an inch.

'Hello?' I asked curiously, wondering if he was asleep, but he wasn't. I could see him blinking. 'Take your shirt off!'

He shook his head. What the hell was that supposed to mean? I guess I have to do everything by myself.

I cleaned up the puke and then started unbuttoning his shirt, keeping my face to the ground. I didn't want to I intrude his privacy.

He chuckled.

'What?' I snapped at him.

'I go to the gym, so I can show off my body, not for people to stare at the floor, while I'm without a top.'

I pretended not to hear him. I guess he didn't like that.

'At least look me in the eyes, when I'm talking to you!'

I looked up, facing him.

'Good girl.' I felt the tension building up between us.

After washing our clothes and putting them in the dryer

I had to wait for a few hours, so I could put my clothes back on. In the mean time I helped myself into Mr. Dale's closet and took a pair of shorts and a T-shirt.

I took advantage of the free time and wandered around the house. Yet again, it looked too good for a teacher to afford. Maybe his parents were just rich.

When I had finished my tour, I went back to Mr. Dale's room. He was asleep, looking breathtaking as always. I laid down next to him.

'Why do you act the way you do? Why did you treat me like that in class? Not that I expect special treatment, but you could've at least acknowledged my presence, when I entered. Your mood swinged from caring to... nothing,' I whispered, trying not to wake him up.

Nathan's pov

I hear y/n coming back in the room. God! The girl hated me already, why did I have to vomit all over her?! I had my eyes closed, but I couldn't fall asleep. I felt the mattress of the bed sink in deeper. I guess she laid down next to me.

'Why do you act the way you do? Why did you treat me like that in class? Not that I expect special treatment, but you could've at least acknowledged my presence, when I entered. You mood swinged from caring to... nothing,' she sighed quietly.

She thought that I was asleep, but I wasn't and yet I didn't say shit. I DIDN'T SAY FUCKING SHIT! I swear to God I'm my biggest hater. My actions were foolish as always. She was the reason I went to the stupid bar in the first place.

It was 18 minutes later, yes, I counted, and I still wasn't asleep. I decided I should say what I wanted to say earlier.

'I'm sorry... I'm sorry I didn't acknowledge you, I'm sorry I didn't respect you the way you needed to be respected, but you are wrong about one thing. You might not expect special treatment, but I should give it to you. You are... different. Intelligent...polite... and somehow you are one of the few people that couldn't get on my nerves...even if they wanted to.' A smile grew on my face. I'm glad I took it off of my chest, but I was also confused. I had never been able to understand my feelings, but this is even more complex.

I turned around to look at her reaction at my words. Oh. She was asleep. I guess it wasn't meant to be for us to make up.
