Third person
'Fuck!' he mumbled after his student left. The universe actually hated him.
'What was all that about?' a rough and raspy voice asked, while grunting. It was Nathan's younger brother Aaron. The man had strong blue eyes and some features that looked just like his brother's, like his heart shaped mouth. He was 2 years younger, meaning - 22.
'I told you to stay in bed!' Nathan yelled annoyingly.
'And I told you it doesn't hurt that bad-- ahhh!' He ran his hand down his shirt and lifted it up, revealing a lot of cotton covered in blood. He was shot.
'Remind me how you got into this mess again?' the older brother asked.
'For the fifth time - Delila! You know better than anyone. If she has been a pain in anyone's ass, it would most definitely be your ass. Fuck!' He grunts due to the pain he's currently in.
'Poor Theo... He watched the whole thing?' Nathan questioned.
'The whole thing. God! I'm such a terrible father. At least he isn't old enough to comprehend what he was seeing.'
'You're not a terrible father. You just didn't have a good father figure for a role model.'
'Oh, you're good, I'll give u that,' Aaron said.
'What are you talking about?'
'You changed the whole subject.'
'What do you mean?'
'I asked you what happened a few minutes ago, but you never answered.'
'Nothing.'
'What do you mean nothing. A girl came in, returned a box you had given her, called you "sir" and her face went completely pale when she saw Theo.'
'She's just a student.'
'And what did you give this "student"?' Aaron said, while taking a sip of water.
'A prom dress...'
Aaron looked at him and swallowed really slowly.
'Yeah, right. Cause you give all you students prom dresses. She's cute tho. Don't you think?'
Nate took a sip oh his water. 'Sure, but I don't see her like that.'
'Great, so you won't mind me asking her out.' He was just teasing his brother, but Nathan didn't seem bothered in the slightest.
The older one chuckled.
'What?' Aaron asked.
'You're 22...' he kept laughing.
'And you mate are 24... by the way how old is she?'
'Her 19th is coming up later the year.'
'You know all of your students' birthdays?' he smirked.
'Ha-ha. Very funny!'
'All jokes aside, is there anything between you two?'
Is there?
'No. Her mom passed away and I have just been there for her I guess, you know... Actually, I haven't been there for her in the slightest in the last 2 days. Except the part where I puked all over her.'
'How did that happen...'
'I got drunk and she got me home safe. I had to check some of the camera footage to put all of the pieces from the night together.'
'Gotcha. She has a nice smile tho... and thighs...'
'Bro... come on.' He gave him a disappointed look.
'I'm kidding. I'm just messing around with you.'
'It's gross, really. My life is way too complicated right now for a relationship. Plus, she doesn't seem like my type. Not that she's innocent, but I don't think she'll be able to keep up with my "lifestyle".'
'Take it from someone that isn't a teacher, this is a shot worth shooting,' Aaron said and winked.
