An excited and giddy trill left his throat when he laid eyes past the glass door.

Waiting for him on the other side were his friends! Mina, Kirishima, Yuto, and Haruka! The twins held green and white balloons while Kirishima held three boxes of presents. The box was dark green with a golden bow on the lid, their faces lit up when they saw him.

Izuku let go of Keigo's hand and scampered outside to hurry and meet his friends. He grinned when he walked past the door, meeting them all halfway in a hug filled with laughter or in the twin's case, content purrs and growls.

Soon they all let go and began to talk amidst themselves "oh my gosh! I can't believe you're all here!" Izuku squealed happily "yeah! Us too! We barely were able to convince mom to let us come!" Haruka said, her tail swaying passively behind her "we still have to be home before the sun goes down though" Kirishima said sadly "wish we could hang out longer but what mother says, goes" yuto solemnly said making izuku laugh "yeah! And I have to go when they go!" Mina groaned, leaning against Kirishima with a hand dramatically on her forehead.

Keigo watched fondly as the kids interacted with one another before he decided to smoothly insert himself into their conversation "well that just means me and the chick have more time together, y'know father-son bonding" Keigo said casually while looking at his nails with an amused smirk on his face,

the smirk stretched into a grin when he heard mina gasp obnoxiously loud "hawks adopted you?!" her smile widened "ugh you're so lucky! What I would give to be adopted by a hero" she sighed dreamily which made everyone else laugh, abruptly mina snapped back to focus jostling the boxes in her arms"oh yeah! Present time!" she said in a sing-song voice.

Keigo led them over to a nearby bench out of the way of people trying to enter and leave the hospital. Kirishima and mina set the presents on the bench white Yuto, and Haruka gave the balloons to Keigo "open them! Open them!" the twins chanted eagerly.

Izuku smiled as he set eyes on the first and smallest box, he noticed a pink tag sticking out under the lid of the box and he assumed it was from mina, he opened the present and inside were five silver rings and a small bag of different crystals and gems "I had my mom help me out on picking the rings!" Mina said pridefully.

Izuku's instincts purred in happiness as he scooped up the rings and crystals as they would shatter at any moment, the tip of his tail rhythmically thumping against the ground showing his happiness "thank you mina" he said softly "no problem!" she grinned "open the other gifts we don't have all day!" yuto snarked, his tail flicking passively, izuku nodded his head and set the rings and crystals back into the present box, and moved on to the next.

The next present was from yuto and was the largest, big enough for him to have to hold out with both hands but very light and hollow, izuku set the box down on the bench and opened, it, inside was a cat plushie and a larger stereotypical white dragon, izuku grinned and ran a hand down both plushies, the fur was soft and smooth, "these are adorable!" he laughed, squeezing the dragon's plush snout before he closed the box "thanks so much yuto!" said bobcat nodded with a shy smile "you're welcome."

The last present was from both Haruka and Kirishima, he opened up the present and inside were various notebooks and sketchbooks, mechanical pencils, extra lead, and even stickers, decoration paper, and colored tape, all in the same green color scheme "I remember you telling me how much you like to take notes! So I thought I'd get you these! Haruka helped with the decorations" Kirishima grinned brightly, izuku felt tears build in his eyes but blinked them away "thanks so much, I'll be sure to put these to use" he felt his heart squeeze when they both grinned brightly at him.
