His thoughts were racing in both excitement and fear as Izuku stared in awe at the looming school before him.
Keigo had dropped him off, wishing him quick luck and a two-fingered salute before dashing off to attend to his hero duties.
With a sigh of slight hesitancy, he began his walk into a new chapter of his life.
Absorbed in his thoughts, Izuku missed an uneven tile in the ground. The world tilted on its axis and Izuku faintly wondered if horns could break.
Before his face met concrete Izuku felt a crisp pat on his back and the world stilled. Eyes wide, Izuku stared at the ground which would have skinned his nose if not for his unknown savior.
"Sorry about that! I thought tripping would surely be bad luck!" A feminine voice spoke up, she sounded peppy. Careful hands rotated his floating body upright and she touched her fingertips together, gravity retook hold as his wings gave a few gentle flaps to steady himself.
He stared dumbly at the kind brunette, his mind racing about all the ways she could use her quirk, from creating better environments to healing bones to detaining villains. Has she ever considered medical work? She could be an amazing asset as a support hero with her being able to support the injured with a spinal injury.
Too caught up in his thoughts, he barely noticed the girl giggle and offer a kind-hearted smile "good luck!" she waved a hand and started towards the school entrance.
Shaking himself free from his entangled thoughts and queries, Midorya tensed his jaw and hurried into the school's New Arrival lobby.
Eyes quickly adjusting to the dark room, Izuku could easily pick out an empty seat, ignoring his anxiety when he noticed kach- Bakugou's stares, he quickly tucked in his tail and backpack under the chair and sat down, his winds disappeared soundlessly as he made himself more comfortable.
The lights dimmed further but Izuku could easily see the shifting crowd and the movement of someone approaching the stage at the edge of its curtain.
Practically glowing in the stage lighting was a blond man with a mohawk reminiscent of a cockatoo who flung himself onto the stage with the flamboyance of a singing parrot. "How we doin' today everybody!!" Izuku's ears buzzed at the sheer volume but his eyes brightened as he recognized the pro hero.

Izuku shuffled on his feet, listening to his tail slowly glide over gravel as he awaited his challenge, his claws made soft tapping noises as he nervously clinked them together. The group of students he had been divided into was standing in the shadow of the tall walls surrounding the training area. Idly flicking an ear, Izuku looked over the crowd from the guy who had singled him out to the girl (he still didn't know her name) that had helped him.
Izuku fidgeted with his claws for a moment before taking a step toward her, he never thanked her. A hand clasped around his arm, pulling him back and Izuku froze, muscles tightening and a growl permeating in her throat until he turned around to see the same navy-haired boy that had called him out. The growl died out as beads of sweat bloomed on his neck. "Stop right there!" he glanced back seeing the teen doing robot-like movements, he couldn't help but stiffen at the sudden movements, his instincts telling him to pounce right then and there.
"Were you planning on disrupting that girl's concentration to lower her chance of success in the upcoming test?" the teen chopped his hands down furiously and a growl once again started to build in his throat, he pointed aggressively to the girl, and back at Izuku meanwhile.
