Mina usually spent her afternoons doing nothing. She was simply scrolling through instagram when she got a sudden DM from someone she didn't know.
"We're still meeting at ******* Right? At 6?" The person typed.
"Uh- who are you?" Mina replied back.
...
"Jeon Somi, You have visitors." A guard announced. Somi looked up and had an inquisitive face. Who could be here? Somi hasn't had a single visitor since she has been in prison. Somi followed the guard out of her cell anyways. As she walked past other cells, she couldn't help but hope it was Chaeyoung.
Somi didn't have feelings for Chaeyoung anymore. She knew Chaeyoung was happy with Mina. She only hoped it was Chaeyoung because Mina promised to let her see Ryujin and Yuna. As they approached the visiting area, Somi's smile grew. Somi took a seat right in front of her visitor.
"Son Chaeyoung." Somi smiled. She knew Chaeyoung would be her first visitor. How could Chaeyoung not? At one point Somi had Chaeyoung wrapped around her finger.
"I would've brought Ryu but she's at Nayeon unnie's house with Mina. I did bring Yuna though!" Chaeyoung lifted the chunky baby. Yuna smiled and giggled. Somi admired how beautiful she was. Not a single ounce of sadness on their faces. Somi was relieved to see how well off the two are.
"She's 7 months now...right? Gosh, she grew so much in 5 months." Somi held the hand of Yuna. Right now, Yuna resembles Somi a lot. Her face looks a lot like Somi's when she was younger. Her heart ached from not being able to see her babies grow up.
"I have pictures and videos of the two over the past few months. Do you want to see it?" Chaeyoung offered with a soft smile that slowly revealed her dimple. How could Somi decline the offer Chaeyoung just put on the table? Of course, she wants to see her babies.
"I want to see." Somi smiled in return. Chaeyoung even let her hold Yuna, which Somi immediately accepted. Chaeyoung grabbed her phone and went to the photo album of Ryujin first. Pictures from Ryujin's 3rd Birthday, Pictures of Ryujin at the playground, and even pictures of Ryujin with another little girl.
"Who's this? I know that's Yui on the left but who's on the right?" Somi questioned. The girl had a bright smile and shared it with Ryujin. It was a cute sight for sure, but Somi hasn't seen this kid a day in her life. Of course, she wanted to know who the cute kid is.
"Oh! That's Yeji. Nayeon unnie's daughter. She was abandoned on Jeju island and when we went on vacation, Nayeon and Jeongyeon unnie found the poor girl. She was so tiny and dirty, she had been living on the streets alone for a long time." Chaeyoung explained to Somi.
