"So what's my birthday gift?" Mina asked Chaeyoung. They're on their way back to their rental house. It's their first night alone since they adopted Ryujin and Yuna.

"You'll see." Chaeyoung shortly replied. She held Mina's hand as they walked into the dark house.

Chaeyoung turned the lights on and sat Mina on the couch. Chaeyoung went into the room to grab something. Mina sat silently, she's still very curious about what her gift is.

Chaeyoung returned with a tiny box in her hand. It was to big to be a ring box so Mina kinda knew what her gift was.

"Here's one of your gifts Minari." Chaeyoung gave Mina the box. Mina's eyes grew as soon as she seen what was inside.

"W-wow Chae. How much did you spend on this?" Mina quickly thought of the price when she seen the diamond jewel in the middle of a necklace.

"Don't worry about the price. If it's for you then it doesn't matter." Chaeyoung took the necklace out and put it on Mina. The necklace was a bit heavier than other necklaces. It's 22k gold and 3 diamonds on it.

"It's 22k gold so treat this necklace well. You know 22k gold is rare in jewelry, but I know a person who makes 22k gold jewelry. I just knew I had to get you it because you're just as rare as it is." Chaeyoung kissed Mina's cheek before finally looking at the necklace on her. 

"Your elegance is just...why aren't you a model or something. I would totally support your career and we could work at the same company-" Chaeyoung complimented Mina. Mina cut chaeyoung off by stealing her lips as a thank you.

"Gosh Chae. I love you so much. When I was younger, I never thought that I would be spending my birthday's with the love of my life. I didn't even think I'd be in a relationship 11 months ago, and defiantly not with a girl." Mina applied kisses all over Chaeyoung's neck. Chaeyoung completely enjoying the treatment she's getting.

"When you graduate, get your dream job. It's possible for you but not for me. I know how much you want to be a song composer." There was silence for a second before Mina continued.

"Even if I wanted to be a model, I could never. I'm a gay mom of 2 kids. It'll just be a bad rep to the company, especially if I was the face of the company. You on the other hand, You can be the pride and everything the company cherishes. They'd care a lot less about your personal life than they would a model." Mina sighed but kept a cute smile on her face. Chaeyoung's face already resting in a frown after what Mina said.

"It doesn't matter about your personal life, do you have the looks and everything they need? Yes. That's all they need to know or even have from you. Babe I want you to be able to enjoy your dream job too. If anything, don't mention your personal life. It's personal for a reason." Chae reassured Mina. She wanted what was best for Mina and their kids.

"Plus the money gain." Mina laughed while embracing Chae. Chaeyoung suddenly got up and went to the room. She returned shortly but with another item.

"Here's another birthday gift since it's 11:55pm" Chaeyoung handed Mina a box. This time Mina could tell it was a ring.

She opened it and this time she was even more shocked than the necklace. Mina felt a tear fall down her face and she looked at Chaeyoung. Chae had a tear falling too but she still smiled.

"This is actually not just any expensive ring." Chaeyoung mentioned as she spoke about the ring that matched Mina's necklace.

"It's also your engagement ring." Mina looked up at Chae once again. Tears falling on both their faces now.
