Ch.32

Wednesday

"Have you ever wondered, why isn't there a toafternoon?" Michael asks us

Currently we are at our neighborhood park, sitting around, doing nothing.

"A what?" Ashton perks up with his browns furrowed

"You know how there is a today and tonight?" Michael turns to look at Ash from where he is laid out on the ground.

"Yeah?" He looks down at him with his right arm on Luke's shoulder and feet on my lap, which by the way is starting to hurt

"Well, why not a toafternoon...or a tonoon?" Michael shrugs

Oh Michael and his pointless questions.

"Michael you're so stupid." Calum pipes in while shoving Ashton's feet off of my lap and replaces it with his head

"Hey, my feet were there!" Ashton exclaims

"Key word. Were. Now my head is here." Calum replies cooly

Ashton pouts then of a sudden Luke stands up causing Ashton's arm to fall.

"Guys they have swings!" Luke points at the set of swings a few feet away from us

"Swings!" The other three boys sit up and look in the direction Luke is pointing.

They all get up and run towards the swings like horses in a race. I get up as well and walk slowly. I am after all still on my period, which isn't really hurting anymore.

"Hey Lily push me!" Luke shouts

As I get closer to him he starts kicking his legs excitedly like a little kid.

"Luke quit kicking before you kick me!" I scold him

He stops kicking but still smiles anyways. I walk behind him while Michael is already high in the air. I push his back and butterflies start dancing in my stomach for some odd reason. I shoot every single butterfly in my stomach and continue on pushing Luke's back gently. A couple seconds later Luke speaks up.

"Ok Lily you can stop now, I got this." He turns his head slightly so he can see me

"If you say so." I shrug and go to stand in front of them. There is only two sets which mean there are four swings, so I don't have a choice but to just watch them.

I pull my phone out of my back pocket and take pictures of them. I catch one while they are all in the air at the same time doing funny faces, Luke and Ash sticking their tongue out. I laugh softly to myself and put that as my new home screen, taking out the plain old bubbles that was on there.

"Hey Lily, come play road kill!" Michael shouts

I look up from my phone and they are are all motioning me to come on. I giggle and jog to the side of the swings, ready to run.

As Luke goes up in the air I quickly run through and stop in front of Michael. I laugh and they all join me afterwards.

Now is my chance as Michael and Ashton go up at the same time. I run through Michael first and try to run through Ash as well. Before I could completely get my whole body there as a piece, part of my shoulder gets hit by Ash.

"Ow." It doesn't hurt a lot but just enough for me to say that

Their laughing comes to a halt and they stop almost immediately.

Ashton was the first since my shoulder slowed him down. "Oh god, Lily are you ok?" He asks frantically

"Does it hurt baby doll?" Calum touches my shoulder and I let out a small groan of pain
