Saturday

"Mom, can I ask you something?" I twirl my long dark hair while standing at the door of my parents bedroom

She sits up and turns her attention from the housewives to me.

"You can ask me anything. Unless its going to upset me, then no." She says quickly

"Ok." I walk slowly to the end of her bed and my mother waits for my dad to get the hint it's just for girls

"Are you guys going to talk?" He sits up

"I need to talk to her alone..." I say, slightly annoyed

TAKE A HINT.

"We are going to talk about how girls bodies change and then-" My dad sits up straight away and runs out of the room, closing the door behind him with a thud

"Ok then." I mumble

"Sit." My mom pats the spot next her

I walk over to my dads side of the bed and jump up, landing flat on my stomach with my head buried into his pillow. Which smells like man.

"Soo..." My mom carries out the word

I groan into the pillow but eventually flip my body so I'm facing upwards, not wanting to talk about this. I avoid my moms intense gaze and stare up at the ceiling.

~Flashback~

Instead of getting off at my stop I stayed on the bus with the boys. My mom won't notice since she's at the grocery store.

"Such a rebel." Luke teases

"You're a rebel too!" I tease back

"How am I?" He leans his head on his hand and smiles at me

He's so cute, I cry.

"You asked your mommy if you could come to Calum's house after school?" I said 'mommy' in a baby voice

"No. Don't tell my mummy though." Luke says playfully

"WE'RE HERE." Calum exclaims

"I think we know big eyes." Michael retorts

"Leave his big, beautiful, brown eyes alone Mickey Mouse." I squeeze Calum as we get off the bus

"You know Lily is the only nice person in this group." He hugs me back but keeps one arm over my shoulder

"Hey!"

"Besides you Ashypoo." Calum makes kissing faces at him

We enter the house and the boys immediately run up the stairs, leaving me hanging.

"THANKS FOR WAITING." I yell sarcastically

I walk slowly up the stairs admiring the pictures of younger Calum Hood. Before the top of the stairs I see a poem.

"Maybe if I just..." I lean forward and squint my eyes so I can try to read it but I'm soon interrupted

"Maybe if I just take you to my room now and you won't read that embarrassing poem of mine, ok?" Calum comes out of nowhere, literally nowhere, and grabs me by the arm, dragging me down the hall

We enter his room and it smells like cowboy musk. I don't even know if that's good or bad.

I look for a spot to sit but Ashton and Mikey are spread out on his bed and Luke is on the beanbag.
