Ch.10

Calums P.O.V

"So, do you think Lily has the hots for Luke?" I whisper to Michael.

"Uh. I don't know. I haven't really been paying attention." He bites his nails.

"Remember back there, she said bye luke." I try to mimic her voice.

"So?" He nibbles on his thumb nail.

"Soo...she said bye guys and bye luke." I wait a couple of seconds for him to process what I just said. It takes Mikey a while for him to think. Just then his eyes go wide and he removes his hands from his mouth.

"Oh my god. Lily likes-" he starts to raise his voice but I quickly put my hand over his mouth.

"SHH! We don't know for sure. We have to keep our eyes open." I say in a hushed tone.

"Yes!" He fist pumps the air.

"Wanna go play some soccer?" He nods and we both head out to the soccer/football field.

Lily P.O.V

"Can you please stop it." I ask politely to the guy behind me. He keeps pulling my hair and it's really annoying.

"Why?" He says showing some braces with black rubber bands.

"It's really annoying. Also I don't want you touching me?"

"Why?" He asks again, still gently tugging my hair.

"Just stop ok!" I whisper-shout

"Oh. Feisty! I love it." He smirks

"Please stop. I really don't want to tell on you." I plead

"Fine, only because you begged me to." He leans back in his chair and starts playing games on his phone.

"Thank you." I turn back around and wait for the bell to ring. Just one more minute and-

*Bell Rings*

Everyone jumps out of their seat and run out of the classroom. I walk out like a normal person and go towards my locker.

I get there alive after many pushing and shoving and put my combination in. Luke isn't here, so I guess I'm walking alone. I almost trip over a girls feet and quickly steady myself. I hope no one saw that. That would be very embarrassing.

I walk down the halls that seem to have quiet down. I see Ashton at his locker with Michael and smile.

"Hey Michael, hey Ashton." I say when I approach them.

"Hey." They say in unison

"We are riding your bus today. We're going to Luke's house. You should come over, it'll be really fun." Ashton suggests

"Maybe. I'll ask my mom." I bite the inside of my cheek

"Hey, do you have a phone?" Michael asks me

"Yes."

"Can I see it?" Michael holds out his hand

"Sure." I put down my book-bag and get my phone out. I hand the phone over to Michael and he starts typing stuff in. I think he's putting his phone number in. He then hands the phone over to Ashton and he does the same. Ashton then hands me my phone back.

I look to see what they have done and I'm correct. There is Mikey with a heart emoji and Ash with a red X beside it. I smile at them.

"Thanks."

"No problem babe." Michael tells me.

We all walk off from Ashton's locker and exit the halls. We go through the office to the bus area. Luke is in the back surrounded by girls who are twirling their hair. I notice one of them.
