Mordred gently patted Mercedes's leg through her dress. She was sitting next to him with her breakfast plate in her lap.

"Mercedes, eat your breakfast."

Mercedes groaned half asleep. The sun had just barely risen. They were awake extra early.

"I I- I'm not hungry..."

Mordred chuckled and gently placed her hair behind her ear.

"Mercedes, you need your breakfast. Please eat your breakfast."

Mercedes groaned again as she began eating her breakfast. A few minutes later Mordred stood to get things ready. He returned to Mercedes to take her empty plate and noticed it sitting next to her. Mercedes had her head hung low. Mordred tilted his head confused. He knelt in front of her.

"Mercedes..?"

He noticed her eyes were closed. He laughed slightly.

"Mercedes!"

She lifted her head with a sleepy sigh. Mordred chuckled.

"Are you sitting here sleeping?"

Mercedes shook her head.

"No... I- I'm awake..."

Mordred raised his eyebrow as she instantly started falling back asleep. He shook his head with a low chuckle. He gently shook her.

"Come on. It's time to go."

Mercedes groaned and complained.

"No... No!"

"Mercedes we have to go..."

Mordred shook his head with a chuckle.

"Alright, come here."

He gently started to pick her up. Before he could position her in the bridal style Mercedes had already started to wrap her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck. She nestled her head into his neck. Mordred shook his head and gently held the underneath of her thighs.

"Mercedes, really?"

He gained no response and noticed that she was completely relaxed. He huffed in shock. Percival and Leon laughed as they shook their heads. Mordred turned slightly so they could see her face.

"Is she asleep?"

They both nodded and Percival chuckled.

"She is passed out, little man."

Mordred leaned his head against Mercedes's. He slowly nodded.

"Alright... I can handle this."

Mordred started walking toward Kalypso. Arthur raised his eyebrow. The other knights and Merlin looked confused. Mordred sighed.

"We're up so early. She's still sleepy. It took some encouragement and reminder to get her to eat her breakfast. She slept right through it."

Merlin leaned over to see her face.

"She really is asleep."

Mordred chuckled.

"Her breath on my neck is slightly warm."

Arthur laughed and shook his head. He stepped out of the way.

"Do you need any help getting her on Kalypso?"

Mordred smiled but shook his head.

"Thank you, but I think I got her."
