CARRIE HAD LAID ON THE bathroom floor for what felt like hours. There was an immense amount of pressure on Carrie's chest, making it difficult for her to breath. She couldn't process a thought because everything hurt. Her eyes, her head, her heart.

Nothing could describe the agony she was enduring. There are no words for how it feels to lose a sister; someone so close to you they felt like you're other half. There was a part of Carrie that was missing now. She felt incomplete.

The kids were all sitting on the bleachers. Carrie had yet to come back from the bathroom, and they were all worried about her. Eleven was beside Mike with a towel wrapped around her body. Her body felt heavy, and it felt as if she couldn't move anything. She was waiting for gravity to make her fall over.

Mike's knee kept bobbing up and down as he impatiently awaited for Jonathan and Nancy to come back into the gym. Hopper and Joyce had left to go find Will in the Upside Down, and Jonathan had wanted to come with. Joyce told him to stay at the school and watch the kids.

Him and Nancy had other plans, however. After comforting the crying girl in the hallway, the two had decided to kill the monster in order to protect not only Hopper and Joyce, but the kids as well.

Mike glanced down at his watch before abruptly standing up. It gained the attention of the group as he stormed over towards the gym doors that led to outside. He called out his sister's name, as well as Jonathan's, but there was no answer. He stormed back into the room with an angry expression on his face.

"They're gone," he announced.

"What?" Lucas asked with furrowed eyebrows, unclear of what the raven-haired boy was talking about.

"Nancy and Jonathan," he clarified. "His car's gone."

"They're probably just sucking face somewhere," suggested Dustin as Eleven blinked slowly at the two boys.

"No. No way!" Mike argued back. He didn't want to think about his sister making out with someone. He quickly shook the thought away.

"Did they go with the chief?"
