When lunch comes around I met up with dustin, lucas,will and mike.
As soon as mike see me he shoots me a unpleasant the kinda scold youve give your best friend for making out with you girlfriend.
"Whats up guys" I say ignoring mike
"Hey" lucas says immeadity giving me a smile.
"Hi max" dustin says
Will gives me a little wave standing next to mike.
We walk down to the AV room
"Okay guys I have to show you something really important" as we walk into the AV room.
He takes something out his backpack.
We crowd around the long gray table dustin pulls out his ghost trap sitting in the middle.
"Grrr" the box shakes making a noise.
"What the hell was that" lucas say stepping back from the table then steps back all our heads making it way over the box
Dustin open it up revealing a smily slig type thing.
"His name is D'artagnan" dustin says reaching to grab him out the trap.
"You named it" will says looking at D'artagnan
"Yea, cute right" dustin look at me and smiles
"D'artagnan...?" Mike says his is puzzled
"Dart for short" the creature slugs around dusrin finger
"And you got that out of the trash?" I say confused
"Yes he was just foraging for food." Wanna hold him?"
"No, no."I say shaking my head repeatly
"He dosent bite"
"I dont want to- " I start but dustin places dart in my hand anyways.
"OMG hes slimy!" I say rushing dart over into lucas's hands.
"Ugh, he like a living booger." Lucas quickly puts dart in wills hands
"Ugh, oh god" will looks at the creature with a weird look a disgusted look on his face bit theres something else.
Will passes him to mike
Mike grabs dart and holds him up to the light and observes dart.
"What is he" mike ask sqiunting his eyes
"My question exactly dustin says digging back into his bookbag.
He takes a tower of books out slamming them on the table.
"At first I thought it was some kinda pollywog" dustin explains to us
"Pollywog" I repeat trying to understand what hes talking about.
"It's another word for tadpoles"
"A tadople is the larval stage of a toad" he goes on to explain to me as if im stupid.
"I know what a tadpole is." I roll my eyes.
"All right, then you know that most tadpoles are aquatic, right?" He says looking at me although hes talking to everyone.
"Well, dart, he isn't he doesnt need water." The curly headed boy opens up on of his books.
Yeah but aren't there nonaquatic pollywog? Lucas asks looking down intently at dart.
"Terrestrial pollywogs?" Yep. Two to be exact dustin say answering his own confusion.
