"hey what was that" I ask as we reach the others.
"Dart." Mike yells
"What?" I ask confused
"You let him escape!"
"You shouldnt have attacked him!" Dustin yells pushing mike.
"Come on we dont have time for this we need to find him" mike say pushing dustin back.
"Turn on your walkies and search around" mike says running off
"Mike dont you hurt him, dont you hurt him" dustin yells.
"I'll go cover the west side of the building" dustin says running of with his walkie talkie.
"I'll take south" will nods
"I'll check the classrooms"
I'll check the gym" I say

I make my way into the gymnasium.
"Dart" max yells dragging her skateboard as she looks among the dusty floors.
I look around the entire gym and theres no site of a slimy, green pollywog roaming around.
I make my way into the bous locker room. "Dart, come out.. Come out whereever you are." I open a locker bit theres nothing there besides a gym bag and dirty socks. Which would explain the reeking smell that tails across the locker room.
"AHH" I hear a yell behind me. I turn to see mike looking a bit dumbfounded as he holds a mop to his chest.
"What the he'll are you doing?" I ask him.
"What are you doing? Why are you here?"
"Looking for Dart." I say rolling my eyes as if I wasnt obvious.
"This is the boys room."
"Yeah, so?" I shrug my shoulders.
"So you should go home." Mike says he throws the mop onto the floor and marching out of the gym. Max follows.
"Micheal, why do you hate me so much? I ask walking behind him.
"Micheal?" He furrows his eyebrows turning to look at me over his shoulders.
"Yea, I figure were not on nickname bases."
Well maxine, i dont hate you. Hkw could I hate you? I dont even know you."
"But you dont want in you party.
"Correct."
"Why not?" I ask as we continue walking.
"Beacaue your annyoing. Mike say turning to fully face me. "Also we dont need another party member. I'm our paladin, Will's our cleric, Dustin's our board, lucas is our range, and El is our mage. He yells.
"El? Whos el?" I suddenly turn confused ar the name ive never heared them mention before.
"Someone or no one?
"She was in our party a long time ago, she moved away. Okay? Mike says them walks away.
"She was your mage?" I say putting down my skateboard riding behind micheal.
"Well, what could she do? Like, magic or something? I ask. I skate infront of mike. I-i could be your Zoomer."
"Thats not even a real thing." Mike shakes his head.
"It could be." Max nods her head and starts riding around mike in circles.
"See, zoomer."
"Mind-blowing." Mike says sarcastically watching max move around him.
"Come on, you know your impressed."
"I dont see any tricks, you just going around in circles."
"If its so easy, you try it."
"No." Mike says shaking his head.
"Why not?" Max laughs
"I dont know how."
I think if I spent, like all day practicing, I could do that. Mike says as max does an ollie.
"I would give you a million bucks if you could" max continues her circling.
"Okay, your making me dizzy. Mike gives a dozy smile at max.
"Please just stop" mike say his voice lacking its usual curt.
I'll stop when I join your party." Max says continutimg to circle around him.
"Come on, just stop" mike says meaning to sound serious, but, a small giggle comes out instead.
"Its a simple question. Am I in or out. "
I smile at mike as i move around him. He smiles back although it seems a little forced. I feel a force tug from underneath my skateboard. Which causes me to slip off and fall on my back.
"Jesus!" Mike rushes over to me. "Are you alright he kneels down.
"Yeah." I lift my back off from the ground "yeah I think so."
"What happen?" He offers a hand and helps me up.
"I dont know." it was just like a magnet or something pulling on my board. I know that sounds crazy." I shake my head.
*bam* the gym door slams as mike weirdly runs out.
I walk over to get my skayeboard that off to the other side of the gym.
"Max come on" mike calls out at the gym door. Will found dart in the bathroom by Mr. Salerno's.
Me and mike rush down to the bathroom metting up with lucas on the way.
We approached the bathroom I looked see its the 'boys room' but I shrug and walk in anyways.
"Were is dart?" mike say to dustin who is leaning against the wall.
"I dont know. Not here." He shrugs.
"What?" Mike says checking each stall.
"He said by Salerno's, right." I ask making sure.
"Yeah"dustin nods. "maybe will has him."
"Where is will?"
