"Party members only" mike say once we make it to the av room.
"Mike" dustin says in a soft but annyoyed voice.
"Sorry max" lucas has an apologetic look on his face as they all walk into the room.
"Hmm" I scoffle as mike shuts the door in my face. Feeling a bit of dejv as this has happen to me before. I lean back on the wall next to the door. Why do I even bother with them they clearly dont want me in there group. And have all these secrets. Maxs mind rambles her back sliding down the wall.
Max sits with her head in her hands for a few minutes she can't hear what theyre saying much less does she even care.

"Mike why do you always do this" lucas yells rolling his eyes
"You were falling on your knees for el now that theres another girl around you just act like a dock all the time."

A frown slowly creeps on dustin face at mikes words. Girlfriend?
"Okay then what so important?" lucas ask.
"Well, um" will say quietly right after id came back for the upside down. Well a few day after. I was at dinner and I starting feeling something clog in my throat so I went to the bathroom an suddenly I just.. Started choking then finally a little slimy bug creature-"
"Dart" dustin interrupts will staring at his trap
"Yeah I think so" will says
"Wai- wait I dont understand." Lucas says shaking his head in confusion
"What do you not understand?" mike says
"Will saw something that looked like dart last year?"
"Guys! Can I come in" what sounds like an annoyed max yells followed by two loud bangs on the door.
Lucas sees the three bous slightly finch at the loud noise coming from the door.
He only smiles knowing that max hasn't walked off and is still outside the door waiting.
"No" mike yells back.
"Well kinda but there was no tail" will says answer lucas question.
"But, then hears it yesterday the exact same sound." Mike says
"Why didnt you tell us before?" Dustin ask
"I wasnt sure"
"So its a coincidence" distin says trying to reassure him self.
"Or not. What if when will was stuck in the upside down, he somehow acquired true sight.
"True sight?" Lucas says rasing an eyebrow.
Gives you the power to see in general plane. Dustin explains making it sound like its obvious.
"Elaborate." Lucas gives an annoyance sigh.
"Maybe these eposide that will keeps having arent really flashbacks at All. Maybe theyre real." Mike says
"Maybe will can somehow see into the upside down."
"So that means.." Lucas voices trails
"Dart is from the upside down."
Lucas sighs " well, we have to take him to hopper.
"I agree" mike shakes his head
"No way if we take him to hopper, darts as good as dead."
"Maybe he should be."
"How could you say that" dustins ear turn up im defense.
How can you not? Hes from the upside down" mike voice sounds suprise at dustin attempt to try and save the pollwog.
"Maybe. But if he is that doesnt automatically make him bad."
"We have a bond" dustin voice slowly grow quites
"A Bond?" Mike scoffles "just because he like nougat."
"No beacuse he trust me!" Dustin voice that was once quiet grows loud.
"He trust you?" Lucas squints his eues in confusion.
"Yes, I promised I would take care of him."
*screech* a sound comes from box that dart lies in.
The boy back up as the trap jerks on the table.
"Guys" max bangs on the door once more.
Max sighs still sitting on her skateboard in the hallway with her back against the wall.
She reachs over unzipping her bookbag. She takes a paper off of a stack of paper holding her history note together.
She bends the paperclip and stick into the door knob wiggling it around. Max has had her fair share of pick locks. Her and sarah would pick the lock on sarah basement door when max would stay over and they'd play board games and listen to the radio together.

In the room the shaking trap flip on to its side. Mike wiles the the ham radio mic for self protection.
"Dont hurt him" i hear dustin call out.
"Only if he attacks" mike holds up the mic.
"Just open it already" lucas says pointing to the trap.
Dustin reaches over and hit the control cause the trap to fing open.
An engorged dart flops out. His skin darken and hes 2 times bigger tham what he was this morning.
"Holy shit.."
Dustin drops the control in shock from what hes seeing he slowly steps back away from the table and stands beside lucas.
Dart crawls out the trap, claws rip from darts skin, as two legs spout from is torso reducing 2 little puddles of mucous.
"Holy shit!" lucas yells as dart starts to roar you can see 10s of baby sharp teeth in the pollwogs mouth.
Mike reaches over for will with his empty hand. They both jump back hearing dart screechs.
Dustin puts his fist ober his mouth trying to keep down his gag.
Mike lets go of wills hand and swings the mike down at dart.
"No!" Dustin yells grabbing the mic before it can hit dart.
Dart screechs once more and falls off the table.
Atfer minutes of max wiggling and stabbing into the door knob it finally flys open.
Max is greeted with a medium sided green creature running her way.
"What the..." Max says as she sees dart.
"Oh shit." Dustin says running out the door.
We all follow after him.
I run out out the door looking at a running dart. Not noticing max still in the doorway. I tumble on top of max. Both of us falling on the dusty school floors. But max breaks my fall.
I lift myself off up off maxs chest. Puttimg my arms on the sides of her head. I open my mouth to say 'are you okay?'. But I get trapped in the trance that lies within maxs eyes. Ocean blue eyes like the Mariana trench sucking me in I cant pull way. mysterious. Her pulips. Slowly start to dilate as we look at each other. Her hair, fiery red hair, im sure she could start a wildfire with that hair of the sun hots if the right way.
"LUCAS!" Mike yells standing a the end of the hallway.
Max jumps up leaving our faces like 2 inches way from another. I lift up completely from max. Stand up hold out my hand to lift max up. Shes me a little warm smile and we both start running down the hall to catch up with the others.
