6: Aria

The group is curious about the current situation. Arbulet questioned the situation with one of the sprinting students in the school hallway. According to the student, Aria, the pop star, is now performing on the school field's stage. Aria's presence at Dark Island's school surprises Liam. Liam admits to being a fan of Aria. Liam, too, races to the school field without hesitation.

Rennard yells and tells Liam that they must wait for Adeline to return, but Liam ignores him and sprints toward the school field. Rennard had no choice but to follow Liam. Vesper and Arbulet followed them as well.

The school field is a grassy space large enough to host various events. The stage is vast and embellished with multiple dazzling and colorful accessories. Aria appears on stage, surrounded by smoke, wearing her iconic melodic red outfit. Aria has dark blonde hair that is long and wavy. Her skin is fair, and her eyes are fawn with brilliant white pupils. Aria's fans applauded her entrance and praised her performance.

Rennard finally locates Liam amid the crowd after a long search. Liam tells Rennard to see Aria's exquisite performance and listen to her elegant voice. Rennard follows Liam's instructions and observes Aria from a distance. Vesper and Arbulet later stopped looking for Liam and Rennard to watch Aria's performance.

Aria begins to sing, revealing her majestic and lovely voice. Aria's fans are astounded by her stunning voice and songs. Aria completes a stanza of her musical performance and begins dancing to the music's break dance section. Colorful lights flash incessantly, and a bright flame heats up the stage.

However, Aria's performance gets disrupted in some way. The electrical lights and equipment that provided a brilliant stage for Aria's performance have stopped and appeared broken. The raucous gathering of Aria's supporters has fallen silent, stunned by the scenario.

Rennard observed Aria going to flee the stage in order to cancel her performance. Rennard instantly took alchemy materials from his bag and began working on a potion. Rennard successfully manufactured explosive potions in a matter of seconds and went to the stage to save Aria's performance.

The explosive potions emitted multicolored smoke, and the chemical reactions produced brilliant lights, prompting the audience to applaud Aria. Aria's performance is salvaged and motivated by the spectators, and she continues until the conclusion.

After Aria's performance, Rennard, Liam, Vesper, and Arbulet gathered in the corridor near the backstage. Liam told everyone about his joy and enthusiasm, especially when Rennard improvised and rescued Aria's performance. Rennard is also praised by Arbulet and Vesper for his alchemical and artistic abilities.

Aria approached Rennard and adequately thanked him for saving her concert. Liam has read something in Rennard's eyes. Liam informed Rennard that they would be returning to the classroom to look for Adeline. Liam tells Rennard to spend his free time talking to Aria. Liam took Arbulet and Vesper with him as he went away.

Arbulet is perplexed as to why Liam informed them that they will now seek Adeline in their classroom. Vesper appears to understand the issue and tells Arbulet that Rennard may like to speak with Aria alone. Liam expresses his delight and assures Vesper that she is accurate. Arbulet appears to grasp the issue now, and the three go down the corridor to their classroom.

Rennard introduces himself formally, and Aria introduces herself formally as well. Aria has expressed her gratitude to Rennard and has asked him what he wants in order for Aria to repay his kindness. Rennard gazed into Aria's beautiful eyes. Rennard stuttered and told Aria that she didn't have to repay him. Aria was adamant about thanking him for his kindness. Rennard and Aria continued to converse.

Adeline has returned outside the school clinic while holding a gift box. She is perplexed as to why the group is not present. Adeline walked into the clinic and asked Maia where the group had gone. Maia said that the rest of the group had not returned to the clinic since they had left earlier. Maia suggests looking at the school field because there was a situation in the said place earlier. Adeline thanked Maia for her suggestion, and she left the clinic to start looking for Rennard.

Adeline looked towards the school field, only to see a tiny crowd departing. Adeline returned to the school hallway and finally found Rennard backstage. Adeline was ready to approach him and give him a gift when she noticed Rennard happily conversing with Aria. Adeline gave the duo a brief glance before leaving the scene with a saddened expression.

Adeline returned to her classroom after returning the gift box inside her locker. She walks into the classroom and finds Liam, Vesper, and Arbulet there. Liam informed Adeline that there was a concert earlier, and they attempted to locate her after the performance, but because the break time was nearly over, they simply opted to wait for her in the classroom.

Adeline nods and returns to her seat. Vesper asks what did Adeline fetch. Adeline replied that she couldn't find it in her locker, so she just decided to return to the group but didn't find them outside the school clinic, so she just returned to the classroom. Vesper apologizes to Adeline for not waiting for her outside the school clinic. Adeline tells Vesper that it's fine and they did the right thing not to be late for the class.

After a few minutes, Rennard arrives back in the classroom, and he is glad to see Adeline back. The group briefly discussed Aria's performance, making Adeline feel out of place. A few minutes later, the school bell rings, and the break time is over. Rennard returns to his seat, noticing Adeline's sullen expression. Rennard asks whether she's okay, but Adeline says she's just weary.

The professor has returned to the classroom and is starting his lecture.
