Vianne: Our tracker detects high levels of "Haunele" energy at Wind Island. We assume that The Epidemic has retreated to this island. We don't know why the epidemic escaped to this island, so we will be sending you on a mission where you will investigate different areas of Wind Island.
Liam: How do we do that? We're not just going to that island and start looking at every corner, right?
Vianne: We've developed a device that alerts you when you're in a region with a lot of Haunele energy. High Haunele energy levels indicate the presence of a lot of Haunele bacteria in a particular location. We must suppress The Epidemic while purging the area of Haunele energy. However, we must first refuel our weapons with mixtures made to treat and get rid of the bacteria.
Maia: So that's why me, Maia, Rennard, and Adeline will stay here in this facility to develop potion fuels?
Vianne: You are correct. In the meantime, we will train Liam, Arbulet, and Vesper for combat and expedition skills.
Rennard: Since you said you would hire us as agents, what will be our codenames? You've given Liam, Arbulet, and Vesper codenames, so what about us?
Vianne: Rennard Connor, Aged 17, You will be given the codename Bloodlust.
Aria Corleone, Aged 17, You will be given the codename Crimson.
Maia Lindholm, Aged 16, You will be given the codename Monday.
Adele Lynn Ambrosia, Aged 16, You will be given the codename Edelweiss.
Vesper: Can I ask why these codenames are assigned to us? We could have chosen our own codenames.
Vianne: Our advanced device analyzes your DNA and brain to choose the best codename for you. I'm afraid to say that we don't choose your codenames. Our device does.
Vesper: Hmmm... I wonder why I got the codename Hound...

After the meeting is over, Vianne sends everyone back to their rooms. In the Ylhaya Protocol facility, each agent will have their own room. Additionally, their room will have tools and supplies that they can use. Weapons for physical combat and other items for physical training can be found in Arbulet and Vesper's rooms. High-quality ingredients that Maia can use to make perfumes are in her room. For their alchemy experiments, Rennard and Adeline keep a variety of substances in their rooms. High-tech equipment and tools are available in Liam's room for him to utilize when researching the technology. In Aria's room, she can practice both magic and music using musical instruments and gadgets.
In the afternoon, after some time to familiarize the agents with their rooms, Vianne asked the agents to return to their homeplace and school to retrieve important items because the agents will spend two months in the facility. They will also receive financial benefits for their work as Ylhaya Protocol agents, according to Vianne.
To transport the agents back to Dark Island, Agent Minion gets the vehicle ready. After the agents reached the Dark Island, each agent went to their respective homes and hotel rooms to gather the supplies they would require.
Arbulet and Liam go back to their hotel room. Only necessities like clothing, hygiene, and certain snacks are brought by Arbulet. Along with his clothes, Liam also packs a few gadgets and books. Liam states that he will spend a lot of time studying at the facility; thus, he will also bring books. Arbulet only brings what is absolutely necessary because he is sure that the Ylhaya Protocol will take care of all other necessities.
Rennard went back to his hotel room and brought all of his art supplies. Adeline also returns to her hotel room and brings some art supplies and some chemicals she has produced. Adeline informs Ercillia about the Ylhaya Protocol. Adeline bids her goodbye for a month.
Aria went back to her house on Dark Island to tell Ritchie that the tour would be postponed because the Ylhaya Protocol had hired them as agents. There will be financial incentives; Aria assures her cousin that everything will be okay. After a month, Aria vows to give Ritchie half of her earnings. After gathering her possessions, Aria departs from her house.
Vesper and Maia went back to their home. They inform their parents about the Ylhaya Protocol and receive certain necessary goods. The agents went back to the car once they had acquired everything they needed. However, Maia still needed to go back to the school to pick up something, so the agents remained in the car and waited for Maia to return.
When Maia returned to school, she was greeted by the school personnel, who swarmed her with questions. Such inquiries as "Are you alright?" "What just transpired in the city?" and "How did you deal with that thing?" Maia screams at them to stop as she grows irate. Maia says she is fine but also in a hurry. Maia walks inside the school clinic and takes some of her own medication and homemade perfumes. A funnel of Haunele bacteria is left in the corner after Maia leaves the space, slowly beginning to glow red.
Maia finally makes her way back to the car. Returning to the Ylhaya Protocol facility on Main Island, the vehicle leaves Dark Island. For dinner, the agents receive exquisite meals. The agents eat in the dining area of Ylhaya Protocol with other Ylhaya Protocol agents.
