24: Detained Epidemic

Armon, Agent Kirbrine, and Agent Season have arrived in the Gamyong City of Nature Island. The Epidemic is wreaking havoc on the city. The Epidemic's size is estimated to be half of the entire city. The Epidemic is trying to absorb the life force of the people, but due to its colossal size, the people can escape fast from The Epidemic's attack.

Agent Bloodlust is seen using a mobility gear to fly and move between multiple structures at high speed. Agent Crimson is seen at far, casting multiple magical spells using a magic wand. Agent Midnight and Agent Houndbite are seen in multiple places as they try to kill the mutated bacteria summoned by The Epidemic. Agent Monday and Agent Stinger are protecting civilians and leading them to safety.

Agent Crimson is surprised to see her brother Armon. Armon is worried about his sister Aria, after all. Armon pledges to help them capture and detain The Epidemic. Agent Kirbrine uses his device to analyze the data on The Epidemic, while Agent Season heads to the ground to help Agent Midnight and Agent Houndbite.

Armon casts a thunder spell and bizarre wind spell to reduce the motion of The Epidemic. High-pressured winds start to surround The Epidemic, slowly reducing its size as well. Agent Crimson begins to cast detaining spells around The Epidemic. Agent Bloodlust shoots The Epidemic's body parts that are trying to break the detaining spell.

The Epidemic's eyes begin to glow bright red and stare at Aria. Aria made eye contact with The Epidemic, causing Aria to glow red. Aria casts the detaining spell powerfully, causing The Epidemic to be trapped by magical chains. The Epidemic's size is reduced to the size of an average human. The magical chains will hurt The Epidemic whenever it tries to move.

The detaining spell is surprisingly different. The detaining spell is usually yellow-colored. But the detaining spell that Aria has cast is red-colored. Armon fears that Aria's silver seal is slowly breaking and that the Crimson Chaos Magic is slowly coming to Aria's life.

The agents brought the detained Epidemic to Ylhaya Protocol's vehicle. Agent Minion appears from the vehicle and informs everyone that all of them will have to go back to the facility immediately. Agent Minion also informs Armon that he has to come with them.

Armon accepts and doesn't refuse the order because he wanted to make sure that his sister Aria is safe. The vehicle immediately flies as soon as all agents are on board.

(Ylhaya Facility, Meeting Room)
(3:00 PM)

Vianne: I have called all vacant agents to this room. As you can see, we have successfully captured The Epidemic thanks to this man from Water Island.

Armon: No problem at all. I am just trying to protect everyone.

Vianne: Although we have captured The Epidemic, we can't be carefree because we don't know its true power. That's why our scientists are currently researching The Epidemic. We don't know when it will have the energy to break free from the spell. We need you Armon here in this facility in case The Epidemic breaks free from its seal. Without you, The Epidemic could have escaped during the battle on Nature Island.

Armon: I really don't have anything to do besides protecting other people so I accept your offer.

Vianne: That is great. You will be given the codename Cerulean. You have our utmost thanks and we assure you to be protected by our agency as well.

Armon: There's something I want to ask. I'm sure you have received every report that happened on Water Island earlier. Is Adrian Lynch and The Epidemic connected?

//Other agents question each other about who Adrian Lynch is//

Vianne: There are other people here who are not aware of Adrian Lynch so it will be appropriate to give them the context first. Adrian Lynch is a man from 500 years ago who was imprisoned inside a crystal by his brother for many centuries. He recently broke free from the crystal and seeks revenge on his brother's descendants. According to our intelligence team, Adrian Lynch is indeed connected to The Epidemic but we don't know what's their connection to each other. The Epidemic may be teaming up with Adrian Lynch to find his brother's descendants.

Houndbite: Why would Adrian seek revenge on his brother's descendants?

Vianne: Well... That is confidential information.

Armon: It's alright. I give you my permission to tell them.

Vianne: Alright. As you can see, Adrian Lynch's brother is named Allan Lynch. Allan was cursed in the past, resulting in its children being cursed as well. This type of curse grants the bearer to have full control of powerful chaotic magic known as the Crimson Chaos.  All descendants of Allan Lynch have this curse sealed within them so Adrian doesn't only want to take revenge but to absorb the curse so Adrian could possess powerful magic. Agent Cerulean and Agent Crimson are descendants of Allan Lynch.

//All agents are surprised by this revelation//

Crimson: What? I didn't know that my blood is cursed... Did you know this for a long time, brother? Why didn't you tell me?!

Cerulean: It's for your safety after all. I don't want the seal that suppresses the curse on your blood to be broken.

Vianne: The Epidemic is now detained but Adrian Lynch is still out there. We have to remain alert at all times because we don't know when it is going to attack.

//Every agent talks to each other about the topic//

Vianne: Now that the mission of capturing the source of Haunele Bacteria is finished, the agents that were hired from Dark Island school can now return to their normal life. You cannot resume your studies.

Bloodlust: What?! Agent Crimson is the target of this Lynch guy, isn't it safer here?

Vianne: Our facility will ensure your safety. You can contact us anytime when something bad happens. Resuming your studies is also important. Our original contract is two months so we're giving you a chance to stay here in the facility until the contract ends. Is that clear?

Bloodlust: Yes...
