Rennard and Aria are conversing in the Ylhaya Protocol Facility's garden area. The garden area is brimming with exotic plants and lush greenery. They discuss the missions they have completed in the last three weeks. Their chat is cut short as Agent Minion summons both of them to the meeting room. Agent Minion explains that it is Vianne's order. Rennard and Aria follow the command to the meeting room without hesitation.
Upon entering the meeting room, Adeline is also in the room. Vianne greets Rennard and Aria as they enter the room. Rennard extends his greetings to Vianne and Adeline. Adeline returns his greeting and informs Rennard that she, too, has been summoned to the meeting room.
Vianne informs them that they have located another track of Haunele energy at Nature Island's Kitsune Forest. According to Aria, the Kitsune Forest is home to numerous foxes and other creatures. Vianne concurs and informs Aria that she is correct. Vianne expands on the description of Kitsune Forest.
Nature Island residents refer to the Kitsune Forest as "The Forbidden Forest." Those who ventured into the woods never returned. Some folks have returned from the forest but have gone insane. Locals say that the great fox protects the forest with its magical abilities.
Vianne says that there is no concrete evidence of the existence of the great fox living in the forest but there's no reason to doubt its existence. The Ylhaya Protocol researchers analyzed the quantity of elemental energy in Kitsune Forest and discovered that the mirage element is very unstable in the woodland, which could explain the legends of adventurers losing their minds after entering the forest.
Vianne is concerned that if The Epidemic is successful in controlling the unstable illusion element in the Kitsune Forest, its Haunele bacteria would quickly spread throughout the forest. If the great fox that lives in Kitsune Forest is true, it could represent a greater threat if it comes into contact with the Haunele bacteria.
Vianne tasks Adeline, Rennard, and Aria to neutralize the areas with a high amount of Haunele bacterias in Kitsune Forest. Vianne claims that the Ylhaya Protocol has developed equipment to protect them from the unstable mirage energy in the forest, allowing them to navigate the woods without losing their minds.
Aria says that she is excited because it will be her first time going to Nature Island. She says that she has read about their beautiful cherry blossoms, four seasons, and other cultures. Adeline smiles at them and is annoyed that she will have to do a mission with Aria.

Rennard: Yeah, we have arrived at our destination.
Vianne: Good. Your tracker will show the location of areas with a high amount of Haunele bacteria. Although you are protected from unstable mirage energy, you have to be careful.
Aria: We're all set. Let's track this bacteria and neutralize it.

Adeline: Yeah sure. Hold on, let me go to the page section of the Kitsune Forest...

Rennard: Uh oh, it's starting to rain. Come, let's find a shelter. There's a hollow tree there that is enough to fit ourselves.

A random fox animal was selected over 10,000 years ago to transform into a mythological beast. The fox beast is obliged to use the provided mystical power to purify the landscapes of Nature Island. Nature Island's civilization is on the verge of extinction due to the unstable elemental energy dispersed over the island.
The fox beast became friends with a kitsune, a creature that can shift into both a human and a fox. This Kitsune was chosen as the fox beast's avatar. The fox beast and the Kitsune became increasingly familiar, and they frequently aided one other.
The Kitsunes are granted an extended life span of up to 1,000 years, thanks to the power of the Fox Beast. The Kitsunes settled in a woodland known as The Kitsune Forest. To demonstrate their devotion, the Kitsunes built a temple for the Fox Beast.
Auliropodians, a human race, raided the Kitsune Forest several thousand years later. The lives of all Kitsunes who dwelt in the forest were taken away. The Kitsune that the Fox Beast befriended also died during the attack. As a result, the Fox Beast went into a fury and unleashed its full might.
Since then, the Fox Beast has developed a hatred toward humans. To safeguard nature and creatures, the Fox Beast wielded its mystical power over the entire forest. Every human being who steps on the forest grounds will have the Fox Beast's magic infiltrate their minds.
Only a few remaining people from each civilization remained when the civilization of the Magistry Kingdom arrived on the continent. There was enough time for these remaining peoples to tell the history of the continent.

Adeline: And that's how the story goes.
Aria: So according to this story, the great fox is the fox beast?
Adeline: Yeah. I don't think it's history. It's more like a legend or story tale.
Rennard: Wait a minute, where's your radio device, Adeline?
Adeline: It's equipped in my belt... Oh no!
Aria: You lost your radio device?
Adeline: It must have dropped in my belt when we were running to find a shelter. I'll be right back quickly, I know where it was dropped.
Rennard: Are you sure? It's raining hard right now! We can go back for it later!
Adeline: Don't worry, I got this!

Adeline leaves the hollow tree and runs through the pouring rain. Adeline searched every track she can remember to find the Radio Device. After a few minutes of searching, she finally located the radio device under a tree sapling.
As Adeline walks to return to the hollow tree, a loud rumble of thunder can be heard which made Aria terrified and scream. Rennard comforts Aria by hugging her and kissing her in the forehead. Adeline witnesses this and instead of returning to the hollow tree, Adeline runs away with a broken-hearted feeling.
