Slug Club

The first week of classes was hard to adjust to. a new living situation, new roommates and new schedules. Severus was overwhelmed. He was in the library when he saw Lula's blonde hair flowing over the couches. He walked up behind her books in hand. She dropped her book down to her chest.

'Severus.' She said joyfully. 'hows the first week going?'

'Its alright.' He told her.

"A bit much?' she questioned and he nodded. 'Sit, let me help.' He sat down next to her and opened up his textbook. 'Potions.' She said happily. 'I'm great at potions but defensive magic is my specialty.' Lula told him.

'There are so many ways a portion can go wrong.' He told her.

'I think I still have my first year textbook, I will give it to you. It has all my little tricks.' She informed him. 'it will help you, keep you on the right path.' She told him. 'plus you will really impress your professor.' She told him as she went over the potion they were learning. 'come on, the best way to learn potions is to practice, not read about them.' she told him grabbing his hand and leading him down to the potions classroom.

'Tallulah Malfoy,' Horace Slughorn said looking up from his papers.

'Hello Professor. I'm going to show Severus how to properly do the potion for this week.' Severus noted that she didn't ask but she told the professor what she was going.

'Wonderful,' Slughorn said before returning to his work.

'Come on,' Lula grabbed the supplies and started to explain proper dosing and how to cancel out certain elements if too much was added. He took vigorous notes as she taught, severus thought her a better teacher than Professor slughorn. Severus stirred the potion and they watched it change colors.

'Perfect,' she whispered her face right next to him as she rested her chin on his shoulder. Severus felt his heart start to race in his chest.

'Tullulah,' Slughorn said as they were cleaning up. 'You think Snape here as potential for the slug club?'

'Definitely.' Lula said wrapping an arm around him as they left.

'Slug club?' Severus questioned.

'Top students, Slughorns favorites.' Lula told him as they walked the short distance to the common rooms. 'he has little get togethers, trying to mold his most talented students.'

'you think that could be me one day?' severus questioned.

'With a bit of help I think you could take over the world if you wanted to.' Lula told him.

"LULAHHH!' tom called behind her.

'Bye sevy!' she said pulling away from him and leaping into Tom's arms.

'What were you up today?' Tom questioned glancing over her shoulder at severus watching them. he smiled at the boy before turning his attention back to lula. 'I have been looking everywhere for you.'

'Just helping Severus with some potions.' Lula told him.
