They were given puzzle boxes, no clues on how to open it, cersei thought it was a paper weight, lula debated taking it apart piece by piece but she saw Luke and James messing with it in the library one night. Each champion had a different puzzle box but still she watched intently as they used different spells and pieces shifted and moved. She took mental note of the spells used and soon they had the box open. They high fived before rushing off to their quarters. Lula watched them leave. She needed to try and get her box open. With a week left. Until the last challenge she wasn't about to let anyone steal her glory now.

She pulled Bellatrix, Lucius and Severus to the boys dorm and sat down on Toms bed.
'I heard Barnes and Leyfe use this spell. It opens. The box opens and delivers a message.' Lula told them.
'you spying on the competition?' Theo questioned. 'or were you cheating on Tommy boy?' he teased.
'Never!' Lula said leaning back and kiss tom long and hard on the lips, his hands wrapped in her hair smiling down at her when she pulled away. 'what was I saying? You distracted me.' she told tom.
'You kissed me.' tom reminded her.
'Yes I did.' She winked at him. 'you are very distracting just sitting there all handsome and brilliant.' She informed him.
'Brilliant huh?'
'Well as long as you help me get this stupid thing open.' Lula corrected.
'Lets get to work then.' Bellatrix said pulling the box closer. They tried a few spells and parts started moving. They spent all night testing different charms but still nothing was revealed. Lula was reminded of a lot of useful spells though as they tried to get it open. Three nights of the six of them constantly going over the box lula collapsed into Severus.
'I give up!' she declared.
'don't give up.' Theo said tapping his wand uselessly against the puzzle box.
'it wont open. Clearly I got the hardest one to open because I'm in the lead.' Lula informed them. severus hugged her from behind. She sat up picking pu the box and throwing it across the room, tom got up to get it when a drawer popped open.
'Lula...' she jumped up.
'Fucking hell all I had to do was throw it?' she questioned picking up and looking inside the drawer, she shoved the box back into toms hands.
'Whats it say?' everyone gather around her excitedly.
'Escape.' Lula read. 'Escape?'
'Whats escape?'
'Maybe we need to rearrange the words?'
'Maybe there is more on the back?' she flipped in over.
'No, nothing.' She told them.
'Revlio.' Severus said flicking his wand at the paper but nothing happened.
