Christmas music, cinnamon rolls and this time Theo and Bellatrix were joining them. along with Bellatrix's younger sisters Andromeda and Narcissa and their cousin Regalus. Narcissa was Lucius's age and Lula said a crush forming as they decorated christmas cookies the night before.
Most of the presents had been opened when Tom pulled out a speical gift for Lula. She smiled at him kissing his cheek before opening it. Salazar slytherins locket. Lula's jaw dropped, it was stunning. Tom put it around her neck and she looked back at him.
'How do you find these things!' Lula declared wrapping her arms behind her and hugging him as he kissed her neck.
'mine next,' severus requested handing it out to lula. She took it with a smile peeling back the paper.
'SEVY!' she said happily showing Tom. 'Look it's a ukulele!' she declared. 'Thank you Sevy.' She leaned forward kissing his cheek. She strummed a few strings and Severus couldn't help but notice the ring on her finger. The ring tom had given her last christmas. She was true to her word. She hadn't taken it off, only for swimming, otherwise it always adorned her black manicured hands.
Christmas break passed in a haze of smiles, lula knew that when they got back to Hogwarts it would be go time again. So she relaxed, loved tom every possible moment, and tried to get Bellatrix and Theo to stop yelling and kiss already but they were stubborn.
Severus tried his best to get Lula's attention but he was just a boy in her eyes. Severus slumped miserably in the library on their last night when lula came in plopping down next to him.
'You alright sevy?' she questioned falling into him. He perked up immediately.
'Better now.' he admitted and she smiled up at him, her head in his lap.
'What had you blue?' she questioned reaching a hand up and brushing back his hair. 'you finally debating letting me give you a trim?' she snapped her fingers together like scissors.
'I'm just going to miss being here with you.' Severus told her.
'good thing for you we are in the same house so you are still stuck with me.' lula said dropping her hand from his face.
'What about after school?' Severus questioned.
'Honey you are stuck with me forever. You are family.' Lula assured him.
'I love you Lula.' Severus whispered into her.
'Awe Sevy I love you too.' Lula said kissing his head.
