Chapter 11 : One and only

After arriving at the camping area, i was woken up by Karina, as soon as I got out of the car, I immediately felt the fresh air here, so peaceful.

The place where we will be camping is a fairly large open space deep in the forest, next to a small stream, the blue water makes me feel like I'm in paradise.

We're divided into groups, me, Karina were supposed to be in the same group, but unfortunately, me, Ryujin and and a rather strange girl I've never met before will be a group. I can see Ryujin's reaction when that unfamiliar girl approached us, i think she's quite uncomfortable with this girl, but i just ignored it and get to know her, i stepped in front of her and asked,

"Hello, i'm Bae Jeongmin, nice to meet you."

She keeps silent for a while then said,

"I'm Giselle from class 2-2, i've already heard about you recently, you're the top student in our school list this year, right ?"

I just smiled shyly and nodded my head as an answer, but then Ryujin suddenly interrupted us and said,

"That's enough greetings, we still have a lot to do."

So we have no other choice but to follow her, after preparing our tent, we gathered up with the others to make our lunch, Mr.Choi said,

"Okay, the boys will go to the forest and find some woods will the girls will stay here and prepare the food for everyone, is that okay ?"

Everyone agreed with his idea and started to do their own job, honestly this is the first time i try to cook something, cause ever since I was little, my mother has never let me in the kitchen, she'll do all the cooking, i also want to learn how to cook but she said she'll teach me someday when i'm old enough, but still, she never kept her promise.

I was assigned to wash and cut vegetables for the soup, but then suddenly that girl Giselle approached me, she stood beside me and said,

"Are you close to Ryujin ?"

I look at her confusedly, after thinking about what she said for a while, i said,

"Actually....we're not that close, we've just met recently, i don't know much about her yet."

After hearing what i said, she keeps silent for a while before she continued,

"I suggest you not to be friend with that girl, i already knew her too well, she's not as good as you think."

What she said makes me confused, but i thought Ryujin is a very cheerful person and always smiling sweetly with everyone, i don't think she's a bad person, maybe there's a little misunderstanding between them.

But then suddenly she said,

"If you don't believe me then i will tell you after lunchtime, let's meet inside the forest cause i don't want anyone to hear our conversation."

Well, i don't have any other choice so i just nodded my head, but then Ryujin suddenly approached me and asked,

"Do you need any help ?"

I look at her confusedly then shook my head and said,

"Everything is fine and i can handle it myself, but thank you anyways."

She smiled at me then go away, i don't find her suspicious at all like what Giselle said, but it's better to be careful with everyone, that's what my mom said.

After lunch, i go to the forest to meet Giselle for an "important" talk with her, i saw her standing near a big tree so i quickly approached her and asked,

"What do you want to tell me ?"

She just keeps silent for a while before she said,

"Sit down first and i will tell you the whole truth."
