Chapter 19 : The sincere apology

Me and Karina are waiting for the bus to go to school, today is my turn to perform so i'm so nervous right now, i don't think i'm gonna make it.

But still, i have to win for everyone, if i lose, our school have no prize , i'll make my friends disappointed that can't happen.

Finally our bus has arrived, but when we're about to pay for our tickets, i realized that i've left my purse at home, i looked at Karina and she just looked at me in confusion, but then i heard someone said behind us,

"Two tickets for them and one for me."

When we turned around, i saw a tall boy with his poker face glancing at us, then he walked to his seat beside the window, while me and Karina just looked at each other and decided to sat down.

I turned to looked back at him. i realized that he's wearing the same uniform as us, that means we're schoolmates, when we arrived at school, me and Karina decided to follow him, i made him stop by saying,

"Hey....."

He turned to look at us, still with his poker face, Karina hesitantly said,

"How should....we pay you back ?"

He said with his emotionless voice,

"No need."

But before he turned to leave again, i spoke up to stop him, i said,

"What's your name ?"

He said while turning to leave and walking away,

"Lee Heeseung."

After he left, i looked at Karina and said,

"Maybe we could invite him for dinner."

She then agreed with me, but then suddenly i remember something that way more important, it's my competition so we quickly run the the hall.

When we arrived there, it's already begun, i think it's too late now, but then i heard someone called my name, i looked around and realized that it's Jaemin, he approached me and said,

"Quickly, it's your turn now."

I'm the last one to perform so I immediately go to the stage, i sat down on the piano stool and started composing my piece just like the test before, but i only have 5 minutes so there's no time to think.

But there's nothing in my mind now, it's totally empty, i have no time left to think, i took a deep breath while holding the micro in my hand and said,

"My piece is called 'Will to protect'.

Then i started to perform it, i chose the slow genre for this piece but i won't make it too boring, then i quickly speed up the genre which made everyone surprised, cause I want to show everyone the intensity of my love for Jaemin, wanting to protect him at all cost.

After i finished my performance, everyone stands up and clapped their hands for me, i can see that my friends are so proud of me, Karina even cried a bit.

They quickly run to me and hug me so tight, Haechan and Winter congratulated me, Jake patted my shoulder and smiled happily, Karina whipped away her tears and said,

"You have done a great job, we're proud of you."

I smiled and said,

"Yeah....i promised that i will win for all of us and for myself so i have to do it."

Jaemin then hugged me and said,

"Well done."

I feel like i'm about to cry now, everything is like a miracle, but then suddenly, Mr.Park cone to the stage and said,
