Chapter 14 : The Interhigh ( Part 1 )

I was frozen on my spot when i realized that it's Jaemin's voice, i can feel that he's coming towards me, while Yuna is still processing what he just said, Jaemin who's standing beside me suddenly said,

"Maybe you don't know but this is my girlfriend, if you keep messing with him, i won't let you go."

The other students started to gather around us, i feel a bit uncomfortable now, they started to gossip about me and Jaemin, suddenly Yuna said,

"So you've already admitted it, haven't you ?"

Then she turned to leave, the others also dispersed, now it's only me and Jaemin here, we just stand there awkwardly looking at each other, i don't know what to say next, suddenly Jaemin hold my hands and said,

"So i guess.... everyone already knows about it, right ?"

I just nodded my head, but then he continued,

"So from now on we can be more comfortable with each other, isn't that good ?"

I just awkwardly said,

"Yeah...but....."

'I'm scared.'

Suddenly he holds my hands and said,

"Don't worry, everything will be fine, if there's anything that happened, i'll always protect you."

After that, he hug me for a while then we go back to our class, while we're waiting for Mr.Choi, i can feel that everyone's gazes at me, suddenly Karina whispered to my ear,

"Just ignore them."

So i just focus on my notebook, but then suddenly Mr.Choi come in and put his bad on his chair, then he stands in front of us and said,

"Attention everyone, we're going to have an Interhigh next week and we will hold a opening ceremony this weekend, it will be a great party, also known as a prom. I want them to prepare everything carefully to welcome the students from other schools."

After carefully instructing everything, he returned to his lecture, but all students were not focused, everyone was eagerly about the upcoming party, while i'm not feeling excited at all, i'm just worried, but i don't know why i'm being like this.

Suddenly Karina turns to me and said,

"Who will you choose to go with you ?"

I think about it for a while before i said,

"Definitely Jaemin, why you ask ?"

She just smiled and said,

"You're so lucky, you have a boyfriend who'll always go with you, while me, i don't have anyone to go with me, or maybe i will just...."

She stops for a while before she continued,

"Wait.... I think I already have a partner."

After our class ended, i quickly pack up my bag and ready to go home, but then someone call me from behind, when i turn around, a girl approached me and said,

"Jeongmin-ah, can you go to the hall now cause Mr.Choi wants you and Winter to prepare something for the upcoming prom this Saturday."

So i quickly get my bag and go to the hall, when i go inside the hall, I saw Winter, she's doing something so i quickly approached her, i sat down beside her and asked,

"What are you doing ?"

She just answered me while keep focusing on her project,
